What a brilliant idea, Komaeda praised himself, as he tore out another page from his notebook and set it with the others on the table. Scribbled down "you give me hope!" and ripped out that page too, and again, and again, until he had a messy little pile of notes that all held some (what he thought was) inspiring message.

Now he just had to distribute them. To think that someone worthless like him could so easily brighten a person's day, just like this! He was already excited, and thinking of where to put them. Tape them to lockers, sneak them into bags, slip them under dorm doors. Heck, he could even do origami with them.

He grabbed the first one from the pile and folded it into a messy little plane, then threw it across the canteen. Where it landed, he had no idea; wasn't paying attention.
