Aubrey wasn’t sure how she ended up in this situation, sitting in a cafe with a stroller by her side and her baby on her lap as she fed her some sort of mushed up fruit. Her Aunt had to go out of town on a last minute business trip and conveniently everyone else was busy and unable to look after Ivy, normally she would simply pawn her off onto her brother, not wanting to be with her for too long because it caused too much ache and questioning over if what she had done was right, but it seemed not to be the case this time. She hated that she found herself getting caught up in the babies actions too, her smiles and laughs were infectious and her motherly instincts seemed to kick in despite her trying to push them away. Normally she would power through it, finish off their afternoon and then go visit Aaron to see if he could take her for a little while, but she guessed she didn’t account for the possibility of Benjamin walking through the doors and looking in her direction causing her to curse lightly under her breath. She did her best to try and act like she didn’t see him, but she had a feeling that she was being anything but subtle and the other simply wasn’t that naive.
