ben hadn’t planned on seeing them tonight—not here, of all places. yet, there they were, standing across the dance floor looking as beautiful as the last time he saw them. he felt his pulse quicken. for a second, he thought about turning and blending back into the crowd, but they saw him before he could make his escape. he tried to play it cool as he approached them, smoothing the lapel of his suit. "guess neither of us could avoid this forever, huh?"

Ayda knew she would be meeting with Ben and she could feel the uneasy set in. He was the one responsible for killing her best friend's dog and that didn't sit well. She knew it came with a consequence of his actions, but an innocent animal had no part in this war fought between the two. All she had to do was to get through this meeting with Ben before she would have another meeting with Melissa.
She arrived five minutes early, a host taking her to the table reserved for them. It didn't surprise Ayda to find him already sitting there. A faint smile seeps into her features. "Benjamin." This was business. She could do business. The host pulls out the chair for her, sitting down across from the man.

Jasper had spent his day off running errands. He managed to stay pretty busy, so any day off was dedicated to getting important things done. He had just entered a shop when he stopped in his tracks, having spotted Benjamin. He went up to him, giving him a small smile. “Hi Benjamin!”

Ayda had excused herself from Levent to use the ladies room, taking the moment to touch up her make-up before she made her way back. Coming out of the room, she felt the door collide in with someone, instantly stepping out of the way. “I’m so....” Her words trailing off when she saw who it was. Great. “Sorry...” The businessman finished her sentence.

“I’m pretty sure I say this every year, but I’m one hundred percent certain that this water is far from sanitary and probably full of bacteria.” Molly commented scrunching up her nose and poking one of the apples with one of her fingers. “Also if you think about how many people’s mouths have been on the apples as they try to pick them and all the saliva floating around in there.” She looked to the other and smiled sheepishly, “I’ve totally put you off apple bobbing for life, haven’t it?”
