“As long as you’re still walking and not laying somewhere in a ditch, I think you’re fine,” Bea chuckled too. Even though she was a healer, she often had a hard time telling random people they should not be doing something. “Yes, yes it is. Sorry, you do look familiar, but I’ve met so many people in recent days that I can’t remember all the names,” she quickly apologised.

“Oh I do hope the night doesn’t end like that, what with me supposedly being the more sensible one in my family, if I don’t look after everyone else then who will. I don’t want them to be found in a ditch somewhere.” She explained to the other with a rather dramatic sigh. “It’s Molly, I work at St. Mungos as a healer- a face you’ll probably see quite a lot given I practically live there most days.”

The second Molly had seen him he knew there was no escape, so hearing her insist he stay and finishing it off by dragging him in by the wrist was no surprise. “Molly, I–” Frank didn’t know why he bothered protesting, it was hard to change the woman’s mind once it was set. “Alright, alright,” he then sighed, his hands flying up in defense when she finally let him go. “Should I get the kettle going?”

When the other sounded like he was about to start and protest, Molly fixed him with a hard stare that more or less said, if you try to leave I will sit on you. “I think popping the kettle on is a wonderful idea.” She all but beamed, busying herself to get out mugs, teabags and of course the all important chocolate cake, not even bothering with slices or plates. She just handed the other a fork and pushed the cake towards him.

“Of course not, but I’ve already tried the ‘you shouldn’t drink to deal with this’ route, so I might as well make sure they don’t drink alone, and make it a challenge for tomorrow,” Fred replied. “If you want to tag along as chaperone, go ahead. I really just don’t want them to be alone.”

“Well clearly you haven’t learned enough from me being an over protective mama bear, I will suffocate them with my presence so much so that they will stop drinking just to escape me.” Molly insisted, knowing that it would probably just drive them to find somewhere else to drink, but she could hope it would end up with them going home and to bed instead. “I’m sure they won’t be alone, they have a good support team behind them without us Wotters after all.”

“Yes, yes I know I’ve been gone for a long time, I thought we’d gone over that,” Roxanne said, rolling her eyes. Now that she was back after leaving without notice, apparently everyone was eager to see her– there were many downsides to belonging to the most famous Wizarding family in the country, and this was definitely one. Roxy really didn’t enjoy the attention. “Can’t say where, or why. Unspeakable stuff.” While that was technically correct, it wasn’t the whole story. “But anyway, enough about me. You’ve changed your hair right?”

“I mentioned it once and you say that like it’s the only thing I’ve mentioned, I have cooed over you more then asking questions. Now come on, I need another hug.” Molly told the other, holding open her arms and making grabby hands, giving the other a look to say that if she protested, she’d still manage to get a hug out of her someway. “You’re really asking me about my hair out of everything, I have missed you Roxy.”

“Hey, I’m trying to get a bunch of people drinking tonight, mostly so Frank and Victoire aren’t drinking alone. Are you in?” Fred asked. “You can bring Alec if you want. The two of them are going through some shit, and I just want to help them forget for just the night. It sound dumb, I know, but this is the only way I know how. We can raid the pool table, have a good ol’ pool competition.” ( @mcllyxweasley​ )

“You know that’s not a healthy way to have them deal with what they’re going through, right? If anything it’ll probably end in disaster and chaos, I can almost see it now.” Molly continued, shuddering at the thought of a family brawl or puking session due to copious amounts of drinking. “How about I tag along as chaperone, make sure everyone get’s home safe, doesn’t end up waking up in the New Year with a black eye or in handcuffs. That sort of thing.”

“You know if you were anyone else I’d say that you were just buttering me up with compliments because you wanted something.” Molly commented, narrowing her eyes at her sister suspiciously for a moment, “You don’t want anything, do you?” She couldn’t help but ask, because even if she did think Lucy was most likely being sincere in her compliments, she still felt like she had to ask. “As for the new year, is it bad that I just feel indifferent?”

“I’m afraid I don’t carry any lighter around, just my wand,” Alec replied when asked if he had one. It was so much easier to just use his wand to light his cigarettes, at least there was a slim chance he was going to forget and leave it somewhere.

“You know as a healer I feel like I should tell you about all the bad health problems that can be caused with smoking. But as your girlfriend I feel like I should offer up an alternative more fun option to keep your mouth busy.” Molly commented with a smirk as she approached the blond.

Beatriz was excited when someone mentioned a New Year’s Eve party during her first day at St Mungo’s. The event seemed like a great opportunity to get to know people and find out more about the wizarding village it was happening in. She was standing in the line to get herself a glass of wine when someone bumped into her, almost spilling their own drink on her dress. “It’s alright, no harm done,” she said quickly.

“Are you sure, maybe this is a sign that I should not drink this, what if I’m crashing into people already.” Molly chuckled, looking at the other girl and swapping her drink over to her other hand and out of the way of her outfit. “Wait-... it’s Beatriz? Right?”

"You’re right, this was the second time they’ve pulled a body swap after all. I don’t think they would do it for a third time.” Molly commented, scrunching her nose up at the thought of the witches ruining even more holidays for them. “I can’t imagine it was, fingers crossed our Christmas will be safe at least.”

“You think so?” Molly asked, all but beaming at the thought of being her grandmothers favorite. “I mean I don’t think she had favorites, there’s so many of us that it’d be unfair for her to pick and choose who she likes the most.” Though she did secretly wish she was up there near the top of the grandchildren she liked the most. “I’m appalled that you think that I would make such a modification to make something so good, taste terrible. I feel offended.”

He had been stress cooking to ease his mind and while it wasn’t helping, he also had an excess of food. He thought Molly might appreciate it. “Let me know if you like it,” he then added once he handed it to her, taking a step back. “I’ll just be getting out of your hair then now. Sorry.”

“Oh no, Longbottom. You don’t just drop lasagna off at my flat and expect me to let you go walking off into the streets whilst looking like a kicked puppy. It’s like you don’t know me at all.” Molly tutted, taking a hold of the others wrist and dragging him inside. “You’re going to sit, we’re going to eat cake and drink tea and talk. Whether it be about what’s on your mind or random nonsense. I don’t care, but you’re not leaving for at least an hour.”
