Even if her sister didn't know what was going on with her, Holland knew that she was worried about her. As much as Holland pretended that she was okay, she knew she wasn't alright. There wasn't much Cass could do from New York to cheer them up or question what was wrong. Holland let out a big sigh as they hung up the phone and shoved it into their pocket. While most people probably had parents that were protective, Holland's sister was the problem and although it was probably not misplaced protectiveness, sometimes she wanted to run away from it all. "It hasn't even been two days and she can't help but call me to ask if the semester's going alright," they complained. Holland wished that she could get some kind of freedom.
