🌋 -- “Fancy seeing you here, Kurt.” Amara’s tone was light and teasing, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips as she considered the blue fuzzy mutant standing before her. “I haven’t seen you since you were an actor.” In that alternate universe Nate Grey created for them, Kurt was an actor and Amara coordinated his stunts with the help of Kylun.

🌋 -- “I think it’s safe to say your savior doesn’t look a thing like me,” she eyed the other woman, who was clad in black while Amara was colorful in all her forms. “But I’m still here to help.”

🌋 -- “I heard about it... but it’s hard to believe until you see it,” the Nova Roman woman commented as she stepped into the hard light sim, which currently represented a pirate ship, with Kurt as its captain. She shook her head with a hint of distaste. “Do you really need to wear such ridiculous clothes?” she scoffed. She liked practical over fashion, and to her there was no need for period costumes in a combat simulation. As things were, she was wearing sports clothes, casual and optimized for the occasional use of her powers -- she needed fireproof, unstable molecules clothes or she would end up naked more often than not.

🌋-- Amara watched the room she lent to the catlike mutant with disapproving eyes. I’m never gonna get my deposit back, she thought, exasperated with the room’s state. She thought that she made herself clear with Sharon when she asked that she not bring dead birds or rodents to the apartment again... but she could see small bones sticking out from under the bed, barely hidden from sight. She ran a hand through her dark blonde hair, shaking her head. “Oh, Sharon... please...” she said to the room, which she thought was empty.

🌋 -- Amara disliked spending time with Tabitha... but she also liked it. The blonde kept her on her toes, and she was loud, and rude, and... dammit. Everything she wasn’t. Everything she wanted to be. Amara was stuck in that dichotomy: “do I want to be her or to date her”. Such a weird spot to find oneself in. “Gods, Tabby, can you be any louder?” she asked rhetorically... wincing when she realized that Tabitha was likely to get louder to prove the point.
