He twisted around, craning his neck, and standing up on his tiptoes in order to search for Yuan over the crowd of people. Considering that she was nearly a full head shorter than he however proved his search to be a bit more difficult. He could have sworn that she was right behind him a second ago... Or had it been thirty minutes ago? He couldn’t remember, honestly. Time was weird when he was distracted, and the Mayan event had his full attention and then some.
“Did she say that she was going to hang out with other people?” he asked himself, but he couldn’t remember. The thought of her getting into some sort of trouble crosses his mind and his heart drops for a second. But then he remembers that Yuan was much more capable of handling herself on her own than he was handling himself and shrugs his concerns away, “She’ll turn up eventually... I hope she’s having fun,” he reasoned before relaxing.
The Japanese demigod takes a step back to turn and head the other direction, but before he knows it, he’s bumping shoulders with someone, “Oh- I’m so sorry,” he apologizes, bowing for the stranger without a second thought, “That was definitely my bad, I wasn’t watching where I was going,” he amends as he straightens himself out again.
