the pair had finally decided to take the step. landon wanted nothing more than to start a family with the man he was in love with. the two had met a few surrogates over the past couple of hours and they definitely had a decision to make. turning his head in desmond's direction as the last one for the evening decided to leave, "so," his hand landed on his lover's thigh in an innocent manner. "i think i really enjoyed vanessa. i think she'd be a great choice. which did you like? i want us to make the best possible decision."

it was pretty late and the last thing he expected was a visit from tallulah but it was honestly welcomed. he smiled as she sat down at the bar across from him, “hey,” he started, his hand sliding toward hers on the bar top and his finger brushing against hers. “what are you doing here? it’s late. you should be in bed.” he had to admit he was pretty happy to see her though and this was definitely a solid way to finish up the night.

landon leaned back in the seat behind the counter and looked over at peter who was seated next to him, “thanks for keeping me company. i just, i don’t know. it’s weird having to work this late by myself. with everything that’s happened, i just don’t feel comfortable being out by myself this late. it’s not that i can’t defend myself but still. i like the comfort of you being here.” he spoke, giving the boy a smile. it was pretty much dead inside the book store and he was greateful for that. he’d already finished cleaning up shop. “you busy after this? we can watch a movie at my house or something.”

landon had never met anyone like them before, which made him even more sure that they were the one and there wasn't anyone else that he'd want to spend the rest of his life with. his parents, siblings, friends, everyone - they thought he was insane to be so sure about someone after such a short time of dating them. his arm snaked around them, smiling playing on his lips as they walked down the side walk and somewhat window shopped. "so, decide what kind of engagement ring you prefer?"

landon wasn’t the kind of guy to hold grudges and he was absolutely the type to befriend his exes. most didn’t give him the chance but when his work schedule got too busy to properly mainly a relationship with devyn, he requested a break as if to not further damage what they had going on. of course he still had feelings for her though and so when they did work together, he found himself wanting her back and wondering if she ever felt the same way. “you made it,” he started as he opened the door to his home. his work studio was upstairs and he often asked her to compose something for the trailers he edited. “how’ve you been?” he asked before further welcoming his ex girlfriend inside.

“-do you believe in karma?” landon definitely did, especially since he’d been brought back. he didn’t know the blonde that was seat at the table next to him but still, he decided to strike up a conversation. maybe this could be some sort of new beginning. he wasn’t exactly looking for a new start and he definitely wasn’t looking for a new start as a demon but there wasn’t much he could do about that. all he could do is see where life would get him this time, “i mean, seriously. do you believe in karma? it’s a thing people talk about but i’ve never believed in it until recently. karma really bit me in the ass this time.”

landon sighed as he walked further into the kitchen, “what am i supposed to tell everyone, sloan? and i almost wonder if you guys didn’t bring me back because you knew i was going to come back like this. i didn’t believe and i did whatever to laney and now you guys are punishing me.” he wasn’t sure how he felt about being here like this. he almost wondered if he would’ve been better off the way that he was. “i mean, seriously. did you guys honestly think bringing me back was a good idea?”
