Caroline loved coffee, so she was pretty much in Blackstone Brews every morning. Once she had a cappuccino in hand, she made her way outside and started walking towards her car when her eyes fell on a familiar face. So naturally, she turned on her feet and approached Mickey.

"Hey, Mickey!" She greeted with a smile. It's not that she was unaware of what other people thought of the other woman, and it's not that she didn't notice flaws in other people - but she always choose to see people as ultimately good. "What are you up to this morning?"

CLOSED STARTER: @mickeymaddox. LOCATION: Halloween Monster Mash Bash.

"Well, we're wearing very different costumes." Caroline said, with a small laugh, before looking down to the Princess Peach dress that she bought to go with Oliver's Toad costume for trick or treating on the 31st. He wanted to do matching costumes with someone but no one wanted to do Mario characters with him - the things she did for that little boy. Maybe she could have gotten a different costume for this event, but that would have been an extra expense. At least Tae was dressed as some sort of Nintendo character, too. "How have you been?"

"You have to let me make you dinner at some point." Ana remarked, before glancing down at the food she ordered. You could never go wrong with a good pasta dish. "I grow a lot of my own veg, so it's nice and fresh when I'm ready to cook." Mickey was a customer that Ana wound up liking - they were both kind of new around town and it was nice to meet someone who shared that.

Caroline had to try the non-alcoholic peach wine. Even before she quit drinking, she wasn't really much of a wine drinker - but it was a chance to support Eli's wife in something. Eli was a good friend, after all. She took a sip of the wine and looked over to Mickey, who she ventured over to the stand with. "It's nice." She said, after taking a sip. "How's yours?"
