“Yugi-senpai!!” Mana grabbed his shoulders when she was close enough, eyes sparkling with joy.
“Are you gonna be free in November? Like, specifically around the thirteenth?”

“Think the Gods will forgive me if I accidentally hit Priest Seto with a fish? I swear I was just practicing magic this time.”

Mahad in his new form didn’t need to walk, he knew that. But he needed to step over here, see this for himself. See her, sweaty, hands lacerated and otherwise calloused just to try to get in, to get to his body.
“I had a feeling you’d be here…” he whispered, kneeling down next to her, but not touching the rocks, instead looking at them, examining them.
“You know that you won’t like what you see when you get to me, right?” He said, pointing to a rock that she seemingly hadn’t considered, as though to tell her to move that one instead.
She could recognize that voice anywhere. At first, Mana wasn’t sure if she was merely hallucinating -- a side effect of working for so long in the sun to reach her master -- or if he really was a ghost. Either way, she couldn’t bring herself to look at him just yet -- scared he may disappear and leave her alone again if she did.
“I don’t care...” Knowing it was her master who had joined her, it was a miracle she’d managed to get the words out of her mouth. As she reached for the stone he had pointed to, she gave a sniffle and tried to steady her voice.
“Someone has to do it; someone has to make sure you get the burial you deserve...” The stone was put aside and she reached for another; she wouldn’t stop until she could retrieve Mahad’s body.
“I wasn’t there to help you, so I have to help you now! I can’t make it right any other way!”

[👻 Best Bakura 👻] apparently this device has a camera attached??? do you know how much easier the artists would have had it if they could take pictures instead of spending months carving statues back in Egypt??? Look how easy this is! [/txt]

[👻 Best Bakura 👻] Shoot! I blinked! That’s it, I lied. Carving statues was better taking pictures like this sucks no wonder people think it takes your soul! [/txt]
When you look around you and see happy couples everywhere and it just reminds you of how lonely you are

Mana could only grin at Andaer’s unique reaction to the kiss, arms wrapping around his waist to try and keep him close to her and prevent him from leaning away.
“And I thought that I was the adorable one here,” she teased as she placed herself on his lap to give another kiss to the tip of his ears. “I found a weak spot, it seems~”

Not bothering to try and stifle her laugh, Mana began to climb out of the pot; it never stopped being funny to her whenever people were surprised to see her in a vase.
“Pretty easily, actually; it’s a fun thing I learned from one of my best friends when we were little kids.” Once out of the vase, she gave a proper look at the stranger, brows furrowing in slight confusion of her own.
“So, you said you were looking for something? Or... Someone? I can try to help you, if you want.”

“Eh? C-can we...?” Mana was delighted at the invitation, but quite surprised as well. “We’ve...never been able to celebrate Christmas before, so I was gonna ask what you do, but... Would it really be okay for us to come over?”
