"It's just nice to get out now and then, you know?" Colin said, sitting on the back of his horse. "I spent all of yesterday sitting in my little office writing. Which was kind of my own choice, but I really want to get this final draft done." He added, which he sure would be any day now. He had spent years on this manuscript and he was so close. Colin didn't like to play ball when it came to conversations, he didn't want to ask questions unless he was specifically looking for information. It wasn't something that naturally occurred to him. It was his thought that he should just be able to say what he wanted, and his conversation partner should be able to interject with whatever they wanted. However, this mindset did result in him talking about himself a lot around neurotypical people, who he would never fully understand. Why couldn't they just talk about themselves, too? Though he knew it was him to had to make the effort, so he had some go to questions in his mind. "How has your day been?"
