 scott was still new in town and had always been awful with directions to begin with, so it wasn’t a surprise to see that he was lost. all he wanted to do was buy groceries but somehow ended up in front of the town hall. letting his pride take a back seat, he spotted a girl with bright red hair and felt an odd sense that she help him. he couldn’t help thinking that this was someone he could rely on, so scott walked up and tapped her shoulder. “excuse me, do you happen to know the way to the grocery store?”

scott had been staring at this girl for at least ten minutes from across the coffee shop, working up the courage to go talk to her. what if she thought he was weird? did he smell okay? come on mcall you can do this, he chanted over and over again until his feet were moving towards her. “uh hi”, he smiled awkwardly, “I’m pretty shit I mean uh I’m scott and you’re pretty, that isn’t much better is it"?
