“so,” her voice is sweet; her expression less so. “are you in my way on PURPOSE or are you blind on top of all your other UNFORTUNATE qualities?”

“what do you want?” nina isn’t HAPPY to be interrupted right now, so her voice is characteristically cold --- until she sees who shes speaking to. “hi. what do you want?” now she’s almost purring.

“c’mon em, it was just a JOKE! don’t be so uptight.” she’s prepared to APOLOGISE, to get back on emma’s good side, but only if absolutely necessary. instead she laughs; dismissive.
