Thing I'm slowly learning about GM-ing:
Whether the players think something makes sense matters way more than if I think it does.
#me believing helps to sell it#but when it's like#a player wanting to stabilize someone by using fire magic to cauterize a wound#i could bea dick and explain how what would probably add fire damage instead#or i could remember that this isn't a reality sim and the player thinks it makes sense#and let them roll#that way if they do bad the fire damage is the dice's fault#and i don't have to crush anyone's fantasy#d&d#three bones#dcc#ttrpgs#gming#dming
