Three headcanons from my current fandom/s.

I'm going with Generation Kill because I'm mired in there.

NB: I'm aware of the real 'canon' information, or as much as there is in Evan Wright's book 'Generation Kill' (I haven't read Nate's book as of yet) but I disregard that as much as possible, so my headcanons are only based on the information we get about the characters in the series.

1) Ray was close with his mom growing up, but they somehow became adrift. Either she didn't want him to join the military, or because of his sexuality. This is mostly based on 'yeah, my grandma did when I went to Afghanistan' I headcanon he had a stronger relationship with her in any case, I'm assuming she babysat while his mom had to go out and work.

2) Brad's taste in media is that of a stereotyped teenaged girl. He likes Disney (I'm not sure if that one line about Pocahontas was genuine or sarcastic, but pfh, my headcanon), he reads tween novels, he watches romcoms and movies with Disney channel actors in them. He's also completely comfortable with it, no sense of embarassment or shame at all.

3) Walt is a soft dom. Hardcore. I will not be swayed from this position. Is this even a headcanon? I'm pretty sure it's canon. (That was a joke)

😱 - Three frightening head canons ||| @icybreaths

1) Although possessing an incredibly high sex drive, Beeyel doesn't have to sleep with anyone to actually impregnate them. As Lord of the Flies, the blade-like tip of Beeyel's tail secretes the eggs of his favorite minions, his Lord Flies. When he cuts an individual with his tail, the eggs are implanted under the skin to use the DNA from the blood and skin of the individual to complete its genetic makeup. When the eggs hatch which typically is somewhere between 24-48 hours after the individual is cut the Lord Fly larva will hatch and begin to eat their way out of their secondary parent. And they typically like to take the scenic route out.

2) More fly-related nonsense, in my universe the term "to be a fly on the wall" may have come to be because of Beeyel and his abilities as the Lord of Flies. All flies, not just his beloved Lord Flies, can be used by Beeyel as a second set of eyes. It has been a useful tool of his to build up his web of secrets and scandals as he causes easily follows anyone to get dirt on them, it has even allowed him to get a certain celestial under his thumb. So whenever you see a fly, always assume Beeyel's watching.

3) Beeyel is a very powerful demon, of course, he is one of the seven princes of Hell, and this allows him to possess multiple people at the same time. and I don't mean 4 to 5 or 10 people. I'm talking about more than 1,000 people all at once in one location. Guaranteed he wasn't really actively having all 1,000 plus people doing anything but being his cackling and captive peanut gallery. All the possessed victims were just captives to react to the fiendish plot Beeyel executing in front of their eyes.

⊗ Wrathion is known to slip by and visit shan often..especially when new pets roll into the black market. Unlike he would with most...these are given to Shan under the guise of being foundlings needing a porper care giver and some one to love them.

⊗The Prince has made a point in his travels to collect unique and flavorful teas for Shanarra..they will be her wintersveil gift this year , and every year after there will be a new batch.. Shhh do not tell as this is a secret!

⊗Shan is Wrathion’s most trusted go to for simple advice , where his people skills lack her wisdom prevails frequently.

⊗Wrathion plus Rega , plus water do not mix. If she says the word swim his scales fluff up and he suddenly has urgent business to attend to.

⊗He is careful to keep his dislike for the Reds away from Rega..he knows she does not think on things with great details..and fears she will lump herself in with the rest. The last thing he could bring himself to do would be to hurt Rega’s feelings.

⊗The prince adores his adoptive” Elder” sister..even though at times she drives him nearly insane , she provides something he sorely needs..a sibling like relationship with one of his own kind.

Feuilly for the headcanon thing? and Courfeyrac if you wanna do more?

i’m actually gonna do courf rather than feuilly because i just did him

courf has this problem where everything is always Fine. when he’s overwhelmed or stressed or sad it only lasts a few minutes and then he’s back to being Fine and basically it’s a lot of ignoring the shitty parts of his life because what’s the use in dwelling on them when he can’t do anything to change them? like he’ll get angry and passionate about causes and help his friends through any problems that he has but he never wants to bother them with his problems or really even think about his problems all that much so he just pushes them aside

and that’s why he’s always carefree and has this ‘things are gonna work out’ attitude no matter what but sometimes things have gone so wrong or he’s been so disappointed that it all just… caves, and he goes into his room and he puts on some sad music at a reasonable volume and just curls up on the floor and cries it out until he feels better

i don’t know why i can see that so vividly but

it took him a long time to grow into himself

like let’s say he, enjolras, and combeferre weren’t friends since they were kids (like they meet in highschool) and he has to go through elementary school as this tiny very intelligent hyperactive little kid who likes to sing all the time and calls everyone his best friend but… no one really likes that in his elementary school, and he gets picked on not physically but just little kids being mean and calling him names so he learns to be quiet and fade into the background and then he meets enjolras who does neither of those things and they become really close and it helps bring him out of his shell and then there’s combeferre who does both of those things most of the time but speaks up when it’s necessary and doesn’t let anyone’s teasing words phase him and these two are what help him be comfortable in his smiling, loveable, eccentric and constantly happy self

and he’s constantly humming or singing to himself and he, like cosette, is always making up songs about the the mundane ordinary things that happen to him everyday like ‘can’t find my left sock’ and ‘someone’s ringing the doorbell’ and ‘think i’m gonna get laid tonight what should i wear’

let me tell you right now if i knew the amis i'd probably get into a bunch of fights with enjolras over who loved feuilly more

but augh feuilly okay

every once in a while he does get wound too tight, and his workload is too much and he feels like he's not going anywhere he's just trying to dig himself out of a bottomless pit and he has to let all of his aggression out by picking fights at bars and knowingly looking for trouble and after he got his ass kicked a couple of times by taking on too many people at once bahorel learned to look for the warning signs and now whenever he hits a low point bahorel will be there to be reckless and violent right alongside him because he knows it's what his friend needs

also okay feuilly is a very realistic and sensible person who is not oblivious or prone to ignoring his friends so yes

he knows that enjolras has the World's Biggest Crush on him

he is aware, thank you bahorel

and it's not like he hasn't thought about it, because enjolras is probably the most gorgeous human being anyone's ever seen, and when you get to know him he's got this dry sense of humor that feuilly really appreciates and okay maybe he has a teeny itsy bitsy crush too but he's a sensible reasonable level headed person and even he can see the way Enjolras goes on about him sometimes borders on de-humanizing (he's not some lofty ideal for the human experience, he's a person) and enjolras can be very misguided with his campaigning at times, so he also knows they wouldn't be compatible but that doesn't stop him from winking at enjolras every once in a while just to watch him get all flustered and cute

also he's got this really angry alley cat he bought on the street one day for two bucks and it's orange and the prettiest cat you'll ever see in your life and hates EVERYONE but loves feuilly and sleeps on the pillow next to him and always manages to place itself between him and whatever guest is visiting the apartment that day as if to say 'nope can't have him he's mine sorry' and he adores it

okay he's the best cook out of all the amis

like i like my bahorel growing up with a single mom who he'd cook for when she came home from the late shift and like two or so sisters who were both hella useless in the kitchen so he poured over their old cookbooks so he could surprise her with a new dish so he makes the best food ever especially when he's running on tons of adrenaline so when they're all worn out after a rally they cram into bahorel's and he makes them all waffles and chocolate chip cookies from scratch and damn right they're delicious

he jams hardcore to hank williams (any of the three but hank williams III in particular), black 47, and old classic irish punk

well i like my bahorel hispanic and angry but i'm also a fan of looks like a secret service agent!big black guy bahorel who, in addition to getting into fights constantly, can be found comparison shopping for whisks and cookie sheets and braiding flowers into his undercut and birdwatching

this kid will fuck you up. like seriously. he'll rob you blind in a heartbeat and you won't even notice, but it's so much more than that.

he's got this scary accurate intuition so he knows exactly what your insecurities and deepest fears are so if you really get him pissed he'll go straight for those, but mostly he'll just say things like 'huh, we have no way of proving the world existed before we were born' and then walk away and leave you broke and questioning your entire existence

and everyone always underestimates his usefullness, like, this kid doesn't hang out with people twice his age just twiddling his thumbs; he knows everyone's secrets and everyone's problems and has all the solutions to their internal turmoil so if you ever go to gavroche for advice all of your problems will become 10x easier in like 5 minutes or less this is science

he's like a chess wizard and kicks everyone's ass at every strategy game he plays and once beat four people at monopoly in twenty-seven minutes but he can't complete a rubik's cube to save his life and it pisses the kid off to no end
