Komgming is on the scene and he's a delight so far. He's like a beautiful princess, and I love that for him. 😂😁🔥😂💖

I love the bit in episode 18 where he proposes a military strategy for the first time and everyone doubts him, and Zhang Fei in particular is like, "excuse me you little twink what are YOU going to be doing while we are all out doing the hard work of soldiering???"

And Kongming is like, "I'll be here, preparing the victory banquet~" 😌😌😌☯️✌️

Zhang Fei is practically ready to eat Kongming alive, but Guan Yu is like, guys let's at least try his plan.

And then the plan works flawlessly, and all these dusty dirty bloody soldiers look up to see Kongming roll up in pristine robes with his feathered fan, sitting in a little wheeled carriage with an umbrella on top bc my man Kongming may be a peasant, but that doesn't mean he's going to lower himself to WALK in the SUN if he doesn't have to thank you very much!

And he just lets them know: the victory banquet is ready~ 😌🎉

What a fucking legend I love him already 💯😂❤️

I actually speak it deceptively well #in that I'm pretty good at piecing together my basic vocabulary to talk fairly quickly and coherently but then people #respond to me in Spanish and I catch maybe one or two words and it's so embarrassing 🙈)#about me #almost every Spanish speaker I've spoken to has been super nice and patient with me about this. more than they have to be.#but that probably has a lot to do with other white people setting the bar so low it's in hell.

Watching the 2009 Romance of the Three Kingdoms animated series. 10 out of 52 episodes in, and still no Kongming! Where is my boy!!???? I was promised my boy!!!!!

I think Lü Bu is a lot of fun - so handsome and mean! and his hair moves like he's a Ghibli character!#well actually it moves a lot more than a Ghibli character but it's a similar kind of floaty underwater look where it emotes with him #I also like zhang fei. even if so far he's mostly caused problems #I am also alternating between watching the animated series and watching a breakdown of the book's plot #and doing a lot of Googling on how to pronounce shit. I'm certain I'm still pronouncing Lü Bu incorrectly but I really am trying.#it's really fucking hard to keep track of all of these generals that have like 4 minutes of screen time each #it's also kind of like reading The Odyssey where dozens of characters are referenced one after the other and #only about 5% of them are gonna show up probs because it assumes you already know these characters from cultural osmosis.#but I am not Chinese or a citizen of ancient Greece so when Liu Bei is all sad because Gongson died I'm over here like #oh no!!! not ... gongson! not my favorite guy who I definitely remember gongson!!#it's a little frustrating. I want to see my boy kongming.#I actually have no idea how much a modern Chinese person is familiar with all of these very small characters.#or how much a 14th century person would have been familiar with them at the time the book came out.#my understanding is that pretty much everyone knows the general gist of the main characters - according to a Chinese youtuber #on the channel Accented Cinema. which is a good channel. I also don't know how much the show being confusing is a result of condensing a #veeeery long story or if it is just accurately portraying a lack of context in the book

Where do I go to find all the gay fan art inspired by the 2009 Romance of the Three Kingdoms animated TV show?? I just want to see the three sworn brothers absolutely plowing Kongming is that so much to ask???
