You shouldn't be giving up on meds that fast. If you're that sick see a doc. You could have strep throat (fever & sore lympnodes?). It could be sinus infection which can last weeks w/o antibiotics. Could be the flu. If it's just a cold, take cold meds. Nyquil/dayquil and if congested, add mucinex. Claratin-D if its a sinus problem.

My best advice would just be to chug tea. I personally make a tea (usually echinacea or green) with honey, lemon and apple cider vinegar that I find works wonders. If it persists more than 5-7 days, though, it may be bacterial.

Thank you, my little tumblr doctors. :) I just woke up from 10 hours of sleep and I’m feeling a little better! I’m gonna keep up on my dayquil and drink tea all day. I think it’s just a really bad cold bug -- we’ll see.

3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?

in search of silver linings (we discovered gold), i think. i knew what i wanted to happen and i knew what i wanted to include, but i had this very specific image in my head and it was difficult to get the time line straight.

that said, i think it turned out quite good. :D

5. What is an image/set of images that you’re particularly proud of?

The sweet smell of spring fills her nose, the feeling of grass beneath her palms. Jemma turns her head a little to get a better angle at the scenery. Flowers are tracing the shape of her body on the white ground. Roses, violets, lilies, daisies are growing all around her. It’s almost beautiful.

this is from through the looking glass and i have this vivid picture in my mind and i really hope the readers did too. i wanted to smell the flowers and feel the tickling of the grass. :)

10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you’ve written

“I know you love them. But sometimes you have to love yourself more.” - from rather be causing the chaos and i’m really proud of this one, because it’s very important to me.

“Can I give you one last advice? Saving others doesn’t mean you have to kill yourself. Save yourself too.” - from in search of silver linings, probably for the same reason.

11. If I’m showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?

it think it would be the bitterness of winter (or the sweetness of spring). i don’t think any fic i’ve written has ever had as much impact on me as this one. i’m still very proud of it.

1. Which is your favorite of the fics you've written for X fandom? since there wasn’t a fandom specified, i’m going to just go with aos. i think my favorite of all that i’ve -finished- is They’ll All Be Unearthed. i’ve got a few wip that i like better, but i haven’t really had time to work on them lately.

4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that? So Disappointing, almost definitely. 

9. Favorite character to write? i’ve had a lot of favorites off and on depending on the fandom, but overall, nick fury has definitely been my favorite character to write even if it’s almost entirely in my wips. 

12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them? ahahaha, so many. so disappointing is still a wip. i’ve also got an mcu daisy johnson adoption fic that i’ve been poking at for the last year and a half based on fury & daisy’s comic relationship. i’ve also got a peggy & jiaying founding of shield/building of afterlife parallel fic. an entire rewrite of aos from the end of s1 forward. and a few little shippy drabbles, too. so many wips, so little time.

3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?    

i’m going to cheat and say the one i’m writing right now (a karaward “hey i need a fake date to my ex’s wedding” au) because i know the basic plot but i don’t know the details yet and that’s bothering me and i can’t just sit down and write it.

4. Which has the most "you" in it, however you'd define that? 

that one fitzmay roadtrip fic i wrote so long ago.i think it has the most me in it because it was the one where when i sat down and wrote, i was like “yes this. all of this. i want to marry this fic.” it’s the fic where i poured out my hopes and dreams for amazing road trips and it was the easiest one to write, and one of my best.

 11. If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?    

definitely either the fitzmay roadtrip fic or the any installment of ghost au. fitzmay roadtrip fic because it represents me and ghost au because i really tried to go out of my comfort zone for that one - using more metaphor and imagery and stuff and even though i’m totally blocked right now on the next installment, i’m actually pretty proud of how it’s turning out.

why don’t we just pretend i actually write?
