Ok I know this was some obvious forshadowing for this to happen, but watching it finally happen had me shook af
First the forshadowing in Three Gems and a Baby, which we saw Pearl thinking about freeing Rose/Pink from Steven because she thought she was "trapped inside a baby" but then backing out knowing Rose wanted it that way. Furthermore Pearls rather pale skin probably symbolising White Diamond. But anyway then going..

..ALL the way to White believing that Pink had "embedded herself into a human child" to "hide from herself" (in other words hiding from her 'true identity' as Pink Diamond). Resulting in White removing his gem to somewhat 'stop her from hiding'.

Other than that this new episode was incredible and it definitely is by far THE best episode of the series so far in my opinion. Also even tho I never want this show to end like EVER..this episode or at least type of episode could've been one of the best ways to end it tbh.
It reminds me of how Adventure Time ended as it shows all the characters as a montage while their iconic credits song as an extended version was played. Like SU shows the Diamonds siding with the Crystal Gems finally, Lar's and the Off Color's return, uncorrupted of all corrupted gems (in particular Jasper's redemption and Centipeetle (Nephrite Facet-413 Cabochon- 12), mostly Nephrite since she was the first gem monster in the series) and of course the end of the thousand year war + a remade extended version of the iconic intro song. It's just an extraordinary way to air such a finale episode.
Any who! Sorry for making this so long, I don't think many will see this tbh but idk anyone personally that I can stan this show with so I thought I'd just say it out here anyway lol
