Today was an ENORMOUS day for AO3 user greaterglow 😭

It’s past midnight here, but trust that the Over the Threshold stuff is coming when I’m home. Today I stood in the exact spot they stood after putting down ~sugar ooh~ for the first time 🥹 I saw the azaleas! Their masked kiss! They’re real! I walked past Suguru’s studio! Probably!

For now, everyone please look at Take It from the Top Suguru. I walked in to the bar and they were playing my number one favourite jazz standard, On Green Dolphin Street, which is the piece that closes out the fic in my mind. What are the chances?

I was fully crying my eyes out in the jazz club. If you get it, you’re probably a musician too.

For them and for OTT, this was exactly what I needed. I feel so reconnected with what matters. Music, art, creativity. I couldn’t be happier. I love you all so much 🫶 Thank you for supporting me throughout everything this fandom has thrown at me!

I actually have many thoughts about AuDHD Gojo. I even have quite detailed plans for a series of short fics focusing on it. However, you know me and my WIPs, so if you can't wait until that indeterminate date in the future when I finally get round to it, feel free to come back with more specific questions because I have a lot to say on this topic!

In the meantime, while I've never been explicit about it, I'm physically incapable of depicting Gojo Satoru as neurotypical. And honestly, that's just canon-accurate characterisation for the guy 🙂‍↕️ I feel like any AuDHDers who read Over the Threshold must be squinting at me constantly. Even the metaphor behind the title is a glaring clue. I'm a big fan of the mixing desk analogy for describing the highly variable presentations the autism spectrum comprises — "spiky" profiles with a few sliders pushed all the way up — so yeah, I'm not exactly subtle.

in relation to my last reblog, bear and i were talking recently about idol satoru dressing up suguru in his little outfits, just to drool over the way he bursts out of them. in over the threshold, healthy suguru is chunky suguru. important!!!

every time "satoru" answers these asks, i take psychic damage. it is such a fun and unique challenge to answer them in a way that's true to the character i've deliberately kept at a distance from you guys BUT ALSO keeps it realistic for someone in his position BUT ALSO maintains an artistic dialogue with readers of my fictional story 🤪

i love answering them so much, but they always take much longer than you'd expect. satoru's thought process for that last one vs what comes out of his mouth?
