Without a plan..
You move with uncertainty. Death for some is an escape but for others, it’s a never ending cycle of wandering. You can never be sure where you will end up or if there is a finite tagged to this type of existence. You, personally lead a full life filled with hardship leadership and love or at the very least lust. What were your regrets? Nothing and no one. You live on in them and Alternia will fall to chaos. When? Any time they feel the want to rise. What if they don’t want to? It isn’t my place to change them. I did my fair share of toughening them up for their journey. I gave them an edge that no one will expect. A dull one. No, a malleable one.
This thing you have been talking to since your crushing has been asking question after question until it synced up with you at last. What’s that? A hill. We’re too far out for there to be trolls. It isn’t their domain. Are you sure? Yes. Well you’re synced until you see something new and he is learning everything over again. Who knew this thing was growing inside of you all this time? I creature made completely out of the unknown and only given its own identity since the crunch. You move to the top of the hill unsure of how you manage to travel without legs or a form for that matter.
Body. What do you want now? I want to go back inside. I told you at least a million times, we won’t be back in a body. Your safe place does not exist. It was silent again almost whimpering. It knew what would happen if it started to cry. Nothing. Nothing happened. You would stop this travel until it stopped the tears. We are not part of the physical realm but we have one another. You are a part of me, so please do not curl away from me. Okay. But can we take someone else’s? No. If they can’t hold me then you would outright kill them. Give up on this. That silent expression. You know it’s the thing you saw long ago, a concept called hope gleamed in those empty sockets you can only surmise to be eyes. This hell may be silent but it feels more like home than any barracks or bunkers.
