So about Mithra -- Do they have any particular magic schools they specialize in? If so, why? Were these schools just ones were interested in or was it a natural affinity? What sorts of things do they craft, what do they specialize in there (armor, weapons, baskets, ugly beaded friendship bracelets)? And... give me their favorite food?
As a Noble in service to June, Mithra specializes in creation magic- healing and enchantments most namely. They fall into this school at first simply because it was what they encountered most but they took to it like a fish to water. She’s been taught some other schools for self defense in case it’s ever necessary and will use this knowledge to help with their enchantments.
Their crafting specialty is mobility aids. They have a degenerative problem with their legs that started very young and while healing magic can delay it’s progression, it will still progress and constant healing magic is giving them a tolerance to it, meaning they have to let other things heal naturally. Eventually they invent their own prosthesis and have their legs amputated.
As for Dalish verse, they do gravitate to creation magic on their own and start off with crafting by making their own mobility aids. Their degenerative disease develops technically faster but they’re never truly left where they can’t walk like they are for a time in Elvhenan.
And they like sweets! Their parents blame that fact for the reason they’re on the chubbier side but, they like the way they look and they like their food and sweets.
