EYES FLITTED BACK AND FORTH. THE NO-ALCOHOL ASPECT OF THE SITUATION meant that Spencer was late. As of late, alcohol had replaced confidence when it came to dealing with social anxiety. 

A pretty thing, Elliot Chase proved to be. She looked familiar. Hadn’t she been with Kass that day they bumped into each other in the hall and met all those months back? As Elliot made her way toward Spencer, the Stewart daydreamed momentarily. How would her life be different if Elliot were the one she bumped into once upon a time? Spencer’s warm, deep brown hues were waiting to welcome her date.

“ Hi. Elliot,  right? ” The question felt stupid as soon as it left her mouth. Let’s try again, Spencer. Maybe Elliot could be the person Spencer needed to get her femme fatale flare back. She took a deep breath and decided to start over. Curvy hips, red lips and a dangerous pair of eyes were Spencer’s weapons of choice. “ Happy Valentine’s Day, Elliot Chase. Your name sounds... just... delicious. I don’t have another word for it. Delicious. ”
