Throw Something. A pencil, a ball dipped in paint.
“The odds of hitting your target go up dramatically when you aim at it.” - Mal Pancoast.
To begin with I wasn’t sure just what to throw at this page. And then I went into town early one morning and brought myself some really nice, metallic felt-tip pens.
I didn’t buy them with the pretence that I was going to use them for this page; I just thought that they were really nice and that I could use them for something. So I brought them home and added them to my ever-growing art collection.
As I flicked through my Wreck This Journal to find a page that spiked my interest one evening, I remembered I had those pens. I quickly got them out and started throwing them at the page!! The markers didn’t make a lot of marks, so I threw them a lot and repeatedly, but I am pleased with how it turned out.
It’s a minimalist page, but has a deeper meaning to it when paired with that quote!!
