As part of the THF 20K celebration:
Here we go! We are going to have a Throwback Thursday (well, between today and tomorrow and Friday). We don't have a lot of submissions to queue up tonight, so to combat that, I need your help!
This is for all our die-hards that have been here since around the inception of this blog, circa May 2012. If we have posted the first chapter of a COMPLETED story or a one shot within the first year, send me an submission with the info listed below.
Now here's the fun part: I will queue up your first chapter (again, only completed stories) or your one shot (for all you prolific writers, that have a vast majority of both, pick one or the other - and we'll give you another chance later on this week. This time, though, you have the option of including a MOBILE FRIENDLY link version of your completed fic OR your master stories page.
MOBILE FRIENDLY = a post on your blog (not a page created on your blog). Pages aren't recognized by the tumblr app, and many of our readers only use the mobile app. We want to get you as many readers as you possibly can get, this is why we're asking for the mobile version.
If your story on here doesn't have the header (since that's a newer installation), now's your chance to include it. YAY! It'll help us get the blog in order a bit too. OR you have the other option of asking as to reblog it from your blog, if it's already in our archives. You'll have to make sure the header is included.
So here's what we need:
A link to the one shot or first chapter of a completed story (originally posted on this blog between May 2012 and April 2013) - or we can reblog it from your blog if it's archived on here.
A mobile friendly version of your completed story (just one link) and/or a mobile friendly version of your fic masterlist.
A completed header
In the subject line, THROWBACK
If you want to recommend an older story, we may be able to accommodate that too. Just let me know that its not your story, but you'd like the story to find a new life.
I'm going to up the stakes a bit for you authors out there to sweeten the deal even further. IF you decide to take part in this and reblog your first chapter (obviously this only goes for multi chapter fics), we'll do a drawing for the chance to reblog your story chapter by chapter for the duration of the story. If it's 20 chapters, you'll get exposition for 20 days... Get it?
Depending how many we get, we'll pick a percentage.... so we may do between 1 and 3 or 4 possibilities. Any questions, anything not clear?
