Next time you go to the grocery store, reach for foods like shrimp, haddock, salmon, sea vegetables, eggs and mushrooms. These are all rich in iodine, one of the most important minerals for healthy thyroid function.

Might be getting put on propranolol. Been ordered to go back on my meds.. Not keen at all, but there's really no alternative at the moment since the hospitals are shit and haven't even set an appointment for me to see and endo even though I've been waiting since the start of January. So fucking frustrating.
i need to make a tough decision soon. do i get my thyroid removed now when the abnormal growth doesnt pose as a threat at the moment, or do i wait until it turns into something serious and then get it removed.. oh goodness, this is extremely stressful.
"Ketolin?"
So, I'm entering my third week on keto and today I experienced a clarity of mind after lunch that reminded me of the time I was taking Ritalin. I have ADD but have been off of any medication since 2005. It helped a lot with school but I felt less creative and less happy on it, so I stopped. I learned how to deal with my ADD without medication, just being more compassionate towards myself, not getting upset when I lose things or get lost on my way back home, for example. Well, today, after lunch, I felt the little neurons inside my brain all happy, clapping their little neuron-hands and saying "Yay, herring! Yay, oils!" I don't think my brain was this "clean" since I was a kid, and the sensation was very close to what it feels like to be on Ritalin. Wondering if anyone else feels this on keto? Forget the weight loss... I mean, it's nice, but it feels like I'm just shedding unnecessary weight anyway. I'm going to stay on keto just because of the health benefits. Wonder if this will help me also with my thyroid issues... Hope so! :-D
