Oliver once tried to shave his beard (for like, experiment of something) early into his and Mike’s relationship. Mike did not hesitate to say he preferred him with the beard. Ever since Oliver kept it.

That was one of the reasons he decided to shave when he found out that Mike had ‘died’. Which he regretted a few days later when he found out that Mike was alive, just buried. He had to wait it out bc no way Mike could see him without a beard after he said he preferred Oliver with it
