i got some boba and it was too sweet to the point i couldnt finish it but i rly liek chewing on the tapioca, so i drained it and ate the bobas but even eating those is making me feel sick but i really dont wanna throw them away cuz chewy chewy fun :,(((((((

i love the idea Peso finds Shellingtons presence calming and comforting. Shellington just doesnt have the same social pressures or stresses as everyone else (not that he doesnt love everyone else lol).

Its nice to just... not have to worry about being dragged into some crazy adventure, have someone have high expectations ( and true because Peso needs to learn self confidence) of him, or even just be reading him and his facial expressions

(Aka masking is hard and Peso has social anxiety)

But Shellie? Shellie will literally take whatever Peso tells him and just accept it with zero judgement whatsoever. Hell, Peso could stim and Shellington wouldnt bat an eye, hes stimming too.

Hearing the otter talk on and on about some sea creature or another while being able to just... be fully silly and relaxed? Its... really nice actually. He loves his friends and spending time with them all, but theres something special about the time he spends with Shellington. Its like being in a safe haven.

Even if he accidentally steps on Shellingtons foot or if Shellington nearly trips onto him cuz he forgot where he was going mid nudibranch infodump.

(He didnt see Peso cuz Peso was uh... below of his line of sight)

Shellington also very much loves Peso there and his medical contributions and questions :3

made a poll asking if i shuld draw tweak or kwazii in da octocommunity butt i went ahead and drew both of them so i dont disappoint either side XD (btw kwazii was winning which i xpected)

im not boosting palestine fundraiser posts on tumblr anymore because all of them are scams (important to know: i do support palestine but i don’t support scammers)

after i got another message asking for donations i started reading about palestine scams on tumblr, and turns out they all are spam and scams and the so called “vetters” arent even legitimate

genuinely disgusts me how people will use an actual GENOCIDE as a way to scam people, taking advantage of sympathy

i had a feeling that the messages from palestinian people were spam, because why would they ask on tumblr of all places? but my intrusive thoughts told me to do something on the off-chance it truly is someone who needs help. but regardless of what i do, i know i can’t help. i have no money and my blog has no reach, which i tried to explain as a disclaimer on my blog (now removed) but i kept getting messages

i truly want palestine to be free and for its people to be safe, and i dont want to support scammers taking advantage of people like me and profit off of actual lives in danger

i gotta make another post about octonaut dubs, just gotta get a good link, maybe a clip for the point i wanna make lol let's just say i've been trying to learn arabic and there is an octonauts arabic channel... it's pretty good, just one thing in particular.

like in general, the dubs seem pretty true to the original characters from the ones i've watched, korean, spanish (if you saw my other post you know not the peninsular one but the latin one is great), and chinese too, and arabic i think was good, with just one, singular caveat i will get into later lol.

any others... I think that's all I've seen. :)

I have this concept of a reboot of the Octonauts starting with a movie where they first meet and then have their first serious mission. It then leads to a series where they get powers from an ancient artifact which releases an army of sea monsters and their queen. So now the Octonauts save sea creatures and fight sea monsters
