A/N: Hello, anon! Thank you so much for checking my works! I’m a bit busy because of school work so this is really short haha…this is more of a drabble than a one shot but I hope you’ll like it!
TITLE: Morning Star

Waltzdidn’t mind that his feelings were unrequited. Allthat mattered to him was the fact that she was safe, finally reachable afterwhat seemed like decades of separation.
He could not even find himselfto be upset; he knew that she does not remember him. Most of the happy momentsof his childhood were composed of her and he really ought to be at leastdisappointed but then she shows that starlight glint in her golden eyes and heimmediately renders himself defeated.
“…It’s rude to stare,” Lucettefrowned as she took another bite of her candied apple. Waltz already finishedhis and he couldn’t help the toothy grin stretching on his lips.
“Sorry,” He placed his chin onhis gloved hand, looking every bit like the mischievous Peter Pan in thechildren’s fairy tale. Except, he was a witch and his Wendy Darling was atleast two times bigger than him.
“I couldn’t help but noticethat the morning star is a bit brighter today.”
