💯 What is my muse’s ideal date?

HM.
He doesn’t have an ideal, I don’t think. But I can tell you what is best for him? He doesn’t have an ideal because he doesn’t understand what it is to have a romantic attachment until it literally happens to him.
BUT.
Generally speaking, he gets along best with either very patient people, or people with thick skin that don’t mind trading blows when Kuja is fiesty. He needs a great deal of understanding, because he doesn’t understand himself–emotions are so new to him that he’s grappling with the unknown constantly. When he feels something strongly, he will retreat until he can parse out what it is. Sometimes that takes minutes, sometimes he locks himself in his workshop for days.
He needs someone who can either understand where he’s coming from, that doesn’t value human life, or someone that values everyone so much that they can value him, too. Someone who has destroyed the lives of thousands to accomplish his goals.
He needs someone that can inherently understand the damaged state of his soul, and understand that he may never fully recover from it. That he will be moody, that he will have relapses. He needs someone that understands redemption is a process--and an imperfect one, at that. That there may come a day when he stops trying, when he complete turns and decides killing will always be easier. Someone who will pull him back from that.
Ugh I gave myself feelings.
