Does anyone think Thunder and Star Flower actually did have potential? Like upon a reread I’m actually really endeared to them starting as if they’re some bland “love at first sight” couple only to have Thunder’s perception flipped on its head when he’s betrayed but then they learn who each other really are and genuinely fall in love for real.

Star Flower pointing out how he didn’t know her at all and chastises Thunder for his shallowness. Thunder realizing he doesn’t have a response for that and it makes him start thinking about how he himself has perceived people through his life as well.
