Summer is peak shedding season on Hermitcraft. Of course, all the hermits with long hair lose a few strands from time to time when they brush or wash– but several of the hermits have fur, and that fur gets shed.

Etho, being an arctic fox hybrid, is a menace to all dark-colored clothes as he goes into his summer coat. He also complains about his ears not matching his hair anymore, which doesn't help anything.

False, a griffon hybrid, doesn’t have as thick fur as some of the others, but some of hers (and oftentimes a few feathers, as well) does inevitably end up having to be cleaned off of her clothes.

Ren's fur is thick, curly, and dark– he is one of the worst shedders of all of them. Jokes are made that you could make another Ren out of his shed fur.

Wels is a lion hybrid– like False, he sheds a little, but mostly his mane just thins out a bit.

Zedaph actually has it fairly simple– in the summer, he shaves his own wool, and saves it for later use.

Pearl looks fluffy, but she doesn’t actually have fur at all– she's a moth hybrid, she has setae. Alas, she sheds all year round.
