Just heard the news about Louis Johnson. So sad to say one of my bass heroes is gone. This is one of my favourite videos of him, taking a solo in George Duke's band. He literally pushes the strings to breaking point. I don't think any other bass players funked quite as hard as him! Man could rock white cowboy boots too. RIP Thunder Thumbs. You are a giant of the bass playing world.
