I love  Jakeem Thunder, and this is maybe my favorite, like JJ bud, you’re in a bank vault how would you take a shower?

This scene really messed me up when I first read it, like his face when the Ultra-Humanite is ripping out his heart. Like all of poor JJ’s fears and insecurities being used and twisted and then he fucks up big time. (And damn it I will make all of you love him as much as I do!)

Ok But why isn’t the JSA way more popular than it is? it had a diverse cast, of different races, genders, ages and religions, facing issues of divorce, abandonment, love, loss, everything, and they’re likable

JJ Thunder was good stuff, a boy with a big chip on his shoulder trying to be a hero, braver than was good for him, and better than any one thought, it’s really a shame given how few black young adult heroes there are that DC got rid of one of the first ones

I'd love to see a new one of these.  Maybe in the same style as that new iMac....
