Lion-O

he jumps, startled a bit when your head lightly fell onto his shoulder. Lion-O was hesitant mostly because he didn’t know what to do at first when he glanced over at you

stiff af, didn’t want to wake you as you slept on his shoulder

so he sat there, his face was a bit flushed as you slept: 1.) because you looked cute and 2.) you were touching him well unintentionally

The other ThunderCats would come in and tease him; mostly chuckling and snickering quietly

Lion-O would glare at them but not harshly just warning. Because he didn’t want them to wake you

But one thing lend to another and he was needed, he gently nudged you to wake you

Once you woke up, you apologized to him and Lion-O laughed

“It’s fine, Y/n. Since I’m needed right now. How about you hand to bed, you look like you need it.”

“Right, o-okay, Lion-O.”

Tygra

it was Tygra’s turn on watch and you decided to join him; you couldn’t sleep (and because you wanted company from your favorite cat, but you’d never tell Tygra that)

you both said your greetings and you took a seat next to him

an hour or so later, Tygra felt something hit his shoulder and looked over and saw you fast asleep

he stifled a laugh, mostly because it was cute

you looked so sweet, sleeping on him, he’s happy that you trust him enough to do so

after his watch was over, he carried you to your room

the next morning, you have know idea how you got to your room and Tygra wouldn’t spill

“I have no idea how you got to your room, Y/n.”

Thundercats Headcanons pt 1: Grooming.

I don't know who might read this but I do need to get it out of my system.

Grooming is a fundamental part of Thunderans' life. Just like Apes, fixing each other's appearance is a way of bonding, wether it is via brushing their hair or fur, dusting off clothes, or just cleaning up a messy eater.

Scratching someone's scalp or just playing with their hair counts as grooming too.

It's common among members of the same household, specially in mother-child relationships, spouses and close friends.

Grooming is usually started by a light scratching to the other's arm, followed by a consent question.

This activity can last from a few seconds to half an hour. Since personal space is such an important thing for Thunderans, getting used to someone else's presence and touch is a crucial step in becoming well acquainted, though the amount of familiarity required between the subjects to start grooming depends on both their boundaries.

It is also a way of providing comfort. Caressing someone's fur stimulates their nerve endings in a soothing way, being the most sensitive spots, the scalp, ears, chin, face, nape, shoulder blades and upper arms. Usually accompanied by purring.

It is also considered as a form of intimacy and some Thunderans prefer doing it while naked because of the sense of emotional proximity it provides.

It's a normal thing to do when cuddling and as aftercare.

Tygra Headcannons

Hate to break it to you, but he can be kind of an ass

He’s cocky and arrogant

When he first met you, he knows you’re gonna be together

He’s confident in you both being together

You’re literally meant for him

He can kind of be a little misogynistic

Though if you slap some sense into his dumb self, then he’ll apologize

He can get a little jealous

Well little is being nice

He wallows in self pity if you’re showing attention to others

He needs all your attention

Pay attention to him!

He talks about being king sometimes

You don’t care to much about the king tho, but he gets into it sometimes

And then he gets himself angry and it does get a little annoying

He’s more responsible one in the group tbh

He’s usually level headed though sometimes he bust

Though you can always bring him back to his head space

He likes that about you

No one gets him like you

Thundercats Headcanons pt 2: Vocalizations

Alright so part 2 because the juices are still flowing. Picturing these is my head was very funny I hope I can make other people go back to the show so I have someone to simp with 😂

I'm talking about vocalizations aside from speaking. Thunderans' vocal cords allow them this feat.

Those include but are not limited to roaring, chirping, groaning, hissing, clicking, screaming and purring.

They normally communicate via words, but the other vocalizations speak to the more primal part of their brain.

Mothers tend to chirp to get their cubs' attention quickly, and cubs may start moaning and meowing if they have lost their mother.

Aggressive displays in arguments or fights usually come with groaning and roaring.

Purring is a favorite. Thunderans can either purr purposefully to soothe someone else, as it sends a message of 'I feel safe, this is a safe place for you too', or just for the sake of showing their own comfort.

Just as a reminder, purring occurs when the vocal cords are the most relaxed, thus vibrating when the subject breathes.

In general this kind of vocalizations are used as quick responses and mood messengers, as they are still engraved in the most primitive areas of Thunderans' brains, despite how advanced this race might be.

……. Hear me out, I’ve had this idea rattling around my brain cage for awhile.. but imagine this~

Lion-O finding out who his Mate is by accident because they were able to use the Sword of Omens and it’s abilities.. but it was in the middle of battle and they weren’t really thinking much of the situation.. since they didn’t know the Sword could ONLY be used by its Chosen wielder and it’s wielders Mate… returning the blade to him with an oblivious smile before they leave to assist the others and make sure nobody was seriously hurt.. as he just stares after them.. utterly stunned and in lovestruck awe~

Could absolutely apply to both OG Lion-O or 2011 Lion-O ..

Tygra’s a power bottom.. and he would absolutely use his wip to tie his mates hands up with her arms in the air because he also hooked his wip to the ceiling. His hands firmly on her plump ass as he fucks a baby up into her womb..
