I don’t think I read those ones when I was a kid; I’ll take a look and see if I think they might like the series.

I actually popped into the used bookstore today and grabbed three Nancy Drews and a Hardy Boys (plus ‘Charlotte’s Web’ and an American Girl book that I liked when I was my niece’s age). They actually had some Boxcar Kids books too; I didn’t read those as a kid so I snagged the Nancy Drews because I read a ton of those when I was their age. I might pick up a few of the Boxcar books when I’m back in, though.
Did anyone read Sideways Stories from Wayside School? I saw it on a recommended children’s literature list, and remembered it was another I really liked when I was around their age. The reviews on Goodreads are kind of making me want to read it again.
