She always had her nose in a book when she was home, that’s how he found her. Morgrim Thunder’s wife, Roslyn TitanFlame was a bookworm at heart and he loved her for it. The way her lips would twitch quickly into a smirk when she read a particularly funny line or when she bit her lip when something dramatic was going to happen. He would usually watch from the other chair, munching on the delicious cookies she had made just for him (or at least that’s what he told himself).

Today was like most days, she read in her reading chair while he lounged in his lounging chair, when Mrs. McCleanly walked in. Morgrim thought she had a letter for him and glanced as she walked through the door with the envelope, but instead she walked to Roslyn. Rose opened the letter with a quick slice from her athame. He watched her eyes as they quickly shot back and forth across the letter, then she stood from her reading chair and went into the other room. He gave a soft sigh for a moment, like the lovesick puppy he was while his mistress was away, and pouted at his afternoon being taken from him as he saw her return completely changed in appearance. Her blue hair now white and wearing her pirating gear.

“Must you go,” He asked with his pupper eyes.

She smiled and patted his head, “Yes. Duty calls, now eat your treats.”

Morgrim have a small huff and smiled, “Be safe please?”

“I always am,” said Roslyn as she disappeared in her cloud of smoke and snow.
