Have any cats died in recent years due to the Sunningrocks conflict? Similarly, would sufficient casualties be enough for both Clans to come to their senses, and sit down and negotiate in the name of preventing future deaths?

There have been deaths before, but they're very rare and completely accidental. ThunderClan and RiverClan fight hard for the Sunningrocks, but they, like the other Clans, do not like to kill, even over territory. It should be noted that the Sunningrocks conflict is treated almost casually now - like it's just a thing everyone does normally and with little anger. We'll touch on that in A Kindling more, so I'll save the rest for that.

In recent times, there haven't been any deaths. The last death was generations ago and was paid for with prey as an apology and the territory went over to the cat's Clan for a time. Any time someone dies, the conflict quiets significantly, if temporarily, and the Clan that lost a cat usually has claims of the land until the next conflict arises.
