"High Stakes" by Andrew Wildman, along with its updated version which was also worked on by Stephen Baskerville and JP Bove
Wildman says of this print:
A version of this was originally used for BOTCON a number of years ago. While rummaging through the studio the pencil artwork appeared. Originally the pencils were coloured by me in Photoshop with no lines to try and give a CG effect. Since the publication of ReGeneration One it seemed like a good idea to get the talents of Stephen Baskerville and JP Bove onto this. And here is the result. A far nicer piece than the original version.
Here's some additional info and credits when it comes to the stage design of the debut TV performance of Sympathy Magic on @fallontonight.
The rusted steel wall was adorned with some of the healing herbs used for centuries by midwives.
As pictured from left to right on stage: they're the Shepherd's Purse (to help reduce excessive bleeding, especially postpartum hemorrhage), Red Raspberry Leaf (to help ease labour), Comfrey (for postpartum healing) and Calendula (it has been used after childbirth since the Dark Ages to heal wounds and for anti-inflammatory purposes).

What if you imagined the characters from Transformers One as if they were characters in Arcane (that League of Legends series)? Both stories have a lot in common, and I love swapping characters from different shows and movies into each other’s worlds!
SO, SO, SO REAL!!!! anon, i think i cooked idk cause each continuity has each character having different personalities as compared to other continuities... we are entering rant territory.
ARCANE X TRANSFORMERS, a rant
i can one hundred percent see the Decepticon movement starting in Zaun if Megatron was in the Arcane-verse. Zaun is not much different from Tarn or Kaon. the miners are mistreated and they live horribly in poverty with terrible working conditions while the upperclass (who just so happens to be the majority of Piltover in the Arcane-verse and a good portion of Iacon's upper sub-levels) live happily which brings us to:
Megatron -> Silico & Optimus (TFA Ultra Magnus in case of TFA) -> Vander.
JUST THINK ABOUT THE PARALLELS. it would be so... where do i even start??? it's literally them. both couples start off fighting for the same thing but then have a fall out on how it should be done— though, Optimus wouldn't really resort to choking Megatron the way Vander did to Silico. also, i'm pretty sure Vander and Silico are dating in the alternate universe so tragic MegaOp yaoi opportunity(?)
Megatron as Silico suits the most because Silico wants control of the undercity and he wanted Zaun's liberation from Piltover— in order to do that, Silico is willing to be a chem baron and literally sell drugs, do crime and be violent. much like how Megatron is willing to kill for his goals, for his 'ideal' world. only difference here is that Megatron's ideal world wouldn't end with just the liberation of Zaun but also the subjugation of Piltover. and that's where i think Optimus as Vander would step in.
this would also leave Nemesis Prime -> Warwick (DO YOU SEE MY VISION???)
and of course, Elita One -> Felicia. idk who else to make Felicia. but considering G1 Elita One took care of an entire squadron by herself on Decepticon overrun Cybertron, i think she would definitely want a part in the revolution and rebellion against Piltover.
then there's this one i really, really like:
Soundwave -> Sevika, Soundwave starts of actually caring about the people in the undercity. i was thinking something like Skybound Soundwave where he believes in the Cause more than Megatron.
Barricade -> Sherrif Marcus, self-explanatory.
ahem and of course,
Ultra Magnus -> Officer Grayson, this does not need an explanation. i think it suits. ik he hasn't been introduced in TF:One but i think it suits.
IDW Prowl -> Caitlyn, i'm sorry but this one feels very fitting to me, might be a crazy take idk. both of them are extremely cruel to the opposite faction after events harden them, both have committed warcrimes (i don't need to even start with Prowl and Caitlyn basically gassed Zaun with the gray, chemical warfare). this one feels perfect. I KNOW ITS ABOUT TF:O but i felt the need to put this out there.
hmm I don't know who would be Vi and Jinx.
now, we're gonna be deviating a bit from TFO
TFA Blackarachnia and Armada Starscream are squabbling in my head over the role of Jinx. Armada Starscream in specific because his internal conflict oddly suits Jinx. and they both give their lives in sacrifice, both betray the figure who's approval they want.
Armada Jetfire -> Vi would fit somewhat and be tragic if Armada Starscream is Jinx... or Bumblebee as Vi. but i just can't see Bumblebee as an older sibling figure for the life of me.
Preceptor -> Viktor, i don't have a justification for this one. my gut just tells me it feels oddly right. i might've said Shockwave but Viktor is driven by the need to help the people of the undercity as well as his own emotions— Percy doesn't really fit the mark but he's close, sort of. maybe IDW Thunderwing before he went batshit insane? or G1 Skyfire...
as for Jayce, im not sure. Wheeljack and Brainstorm are close in that arena. Jayce isn't really a mad scientist, he's willing to take risks but he isn't full blown blindly taking them. theres miscalculations, of course.
on the pure basics of aesthetics, like only in an aesthetic point of view, i'm 100% sure that Windblade would kill it as Mel Medarda. but if we're talking in a story perspective, Senator Shockwave as Mel would oddly fit. though, i'd personally prefer Windblade over Sen. Shockwave. Mel & Windblade are both not from Piltover and Cybertron respectively so of course, they wouldn't understand the perils of those in the undercity to begin with and would have to learn the politics of Piltover from scratch. however, personality-wise, Sen. Shockwave oddly suits.
now, Ekko... hmmmmmmmmmmmm... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. TFA Optimus comes close, maybe Hotshot? not sure about this one either ngl.
THESE ARE JUST MY THOUGHTS. but do let me know if you fw these and comment down your own ideas‼️ im more than happy to discuss about my favorite shows.
The inventor of pretender technology, thunderwing is one of the head scientists on the tidal wave, for as long as he's lived thunderwing has been plagued with visions of the future, a future without decepticons and does what he does in an attempt to change fate
Thunderwing is an apocalyptically powerful abhorrent monster of a transformer under shockwave's employ, he's directly responsible for all the animal testing on the tidal wave and their definition of animal is the most broad, autobots, decepticons and native life are all subject to thunderwing's testing as he attempts to achieve his one true goal
When his core robot and pretender shell combine thunderwing can control the weather by releasing micro particles of his pretender shell's liquid metal into the atmosphere to create snow, rain, thunderbolts and lighting
His ruthless attitude and incredible powers are what attracted shockwave to work with him, although they collaborate very often thunderwing diverts resources to his own projects even more often.
Thunderwing is one of a line of decepticons from gigantion descendent from a cybertronian nobel called hun-grr plagued with mental instabilities caused by organic contamination of hun-grr's genes, thunderwing has lived his entire life suffering hallucinations and visions of what appears to be the future
In that future he saw the transformers reduced to animals and the decepticons colapse from infighting, and it horrified him, setting out on a quest to ensure this would never come about, he became a master of science and technology, when he gets his hands on a body he's often able to understand it better than the ones who built it
Thunderwing deeply values his people and their culture but in his attempts to understand and catalog every aspect of them for preservation he's lost the ability to see the harm that his prodding and poking brings about. Or rather he chooses to deny the consequences of his actions for what he sees as the greater good
Thunderwing's plans with the pretenders is to spread the technology around the universe and use a mind control program embedded into every pretender shell to force each and every pretender to obey him and use their power to take over the world
To stop anybody from ruining his plan before it could even begin he created three protoforms and hid the key to the control program inside of their circuits, but before he could finish shaping their personality components one of them woke up too early, ran away, and scattered the other two into space
After having intercepted optimus prime's message of the allspark's discovery on earth, it was thunderwing that convinced shockwave to stay on the planet so rather than chasing them, he could wait until thunderwing's runaways came to him, and in the meantime experiment on the hapless autobots and natives of the planet bellow
Based on the prehistoric azdarchid pterosaur Hatzegopteryx, the Thunderwing is a massive, but peaceful, Communication Class machine, similar to the Tallneck. Its name comes from the booming flapping of its wings in the air. It covers vast distances via aerial travel, connecting the Tallneck communication system over barriers such as oceans, islands, mountains, and canyons. There are only twenty Thunderwings at one time, making them incredibly rare.
However, they are still seen regularly; despite being able to stay in the air for months at a time without landing, they take regular pit-stops at designated landing sites in their designated “territory” for maintenance by other Zero Dawn Machines. As one would expect, when nearby tribes witnessed such regular landings, Thunderwings quickly became significant to many cultures. In the Great Delta of the Quen, the landing of the local Thunderwing happens in their territory every four months, each day being a recognized holiday in the Quen calendar. In the Tenakth Clan Lands, the Thunderwing is revered as the most legendary of the Wings of the Ten, and the local machine will use the Arena as a landing site once a year.
The Thunderwing is very similar to that of a Tallneck. It has a massive set of muscles to support the immense weight of the head and radar dish, and when landed for maintenance, it will often patrol a small area. Similarly to its Communication Class sister, the Thunderwing cannot be damaged or overridden, but it does provide an ideal resting space for aerial mounts when flying. The main power source of the Thunderwing comes from the solar panel wings, but this is supplemented with emergency supplies of blaze during maintenance. In order to ease the weight of flying, when a Thunderwing encounters a favorable air current, it can use the sparkers on its wings to shock the muscles into stiffness, soaring on the current for miles.
