Something about old Chrisker hit me like a brick.

Chris would undoubtedly kiss and tenderly hold Wesker's hands often, the very hands that has beaten and bloodied him many times, attempted to choke the life out of him, put a bullet in his head, murdered and hurt people he cared about, used to make BOWs and viruses, weapons of destruction, but he remembers they have also once saved him. Hands that have taken and resulted in an uncountable amount of lives lost, both direct and indirectly, hands that no-one dare touch because of how stained with blood they are...until Chris, the first person to see the blood and still reach out to them, unafraid, willing to give them the love no-one else will. It doesn't matter that they had almost ended his life, how dangerous they once were and how scarred and frail they are now, they are the part of Wesker he knows most intimately. Chris would recognise his touch, gentle or not, in total darkness.

i was thinking......marcopell, maybe surgeon pell & doctor marco? then i thought NO WAIT paramedic pell (the "falcon" known for saving people from high risk situations really fast) & surgeon marco (the "phoenix" with a great track record of not losing patients)????

then i realised its turning into greys anatomy. which ppl call white women's one piece. my thoughts were turning one piece into white womens one piece.

(also i realise i wrote marcopell bc it sounds nicer but tbh....pellmarco)

i love how we all collectively ignore that george was the one who suggested sapnap and him should read heat waves and the fact that you needed an ao3 account to read it, which may i remind you takes ages for you to get an email or you need an invite.

if alby had lived, newt would have lived. alby knows newt better than anyone, exist possibly minho. he’s spent three years by newts side, living and working next to him, being his closest friend. newt was his second in command, they knew each other better than they knew themselves. he’s also seen newt at his worst, he knows what he’s like when he’s being self destructive. he’d have noticed that newt had the flare before he even told anyone, before he was so far gone that it was affecting his judgment and emotional stability. he’s also an expert decision maker, he’s spent years being the leader in the glade making the hardest decisions anyone his age should ever be expected to make. he knows how to think critically and outside the box, something thomas hasn’t had much practice with, and he’s also much more invested in newts health than newt is, since newt doesn’t really care much about himself at this point because minho is in danger and he was never self centered in the first place. he’d have been thinking of ways to make sure newt lived and may have noticed the solution even before teresa, but even if he didn’t he’d listen to her becausse he’d already be close to thinking the same thing - thomas is the cure, he cured brenda and he can do the same for newt

Idk if anybody else feels or thinks this way but the lab scene where Chris laughs at Wesker both in the OG and Remaster is both the funniest yet possibly one of the most heart breaking moment in the franchise. Because:

- He was already under distress before Bravo team contacted them, his childhood and oldest friend Billy had been killed (which Chris knows was a murder) and he was trying to get to the bottom of it, maybe even running himself ragged over it

- Chris would have been emotionally strained prior to the mansion incident from trying to find out the truth of what happened to Billy, and he may have even blamed himself for it because he didn't meet up with him like he said he would

- Then the urgent call from Bravo team comes in, later finding there had been casualties

- Brad chickens out leaves them behind, they could have all died because of him, which Chris nearly did if it wasn't for Wesker

- Most of STARS is dead, people he has bonded and worked with for 2 years, including two of his best mates Joseph and Forest

- He's witnessed teammates brutally killed in front of him

- He's been hunted and attacked by zombies, BOWs and zombfiied teammates

- Has been under constant fear, stress and alertness since they heard what happened to Bravo team

- He'll be exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally, wondering how he, Wesker and Rebecca will get out and survive this

- He doesn't know if Barry and Jill are still alive, he'd be worrying about them

- Finds out they were betrayed by someone in STARS which would have caused some paranoia and distrust with the surviving team members

- Finds out that Wesker was working for Umbrella and was the traitor, that he had lied to Chris and STARS for two years

- He may have also figured out the truth of what happened to Billy at this point

- Wesker shoots Rebecca leaving Chris alone with him at gunpoint, to him this could have been his final moment

- If he died and Claire would be alone, she wouldn't have known the truth of what happened to him, RC and maybe even the world would be in danger

What else could he do but laugh at Wesker and mock him to his face before he dies? He wasn't going to grovel for his life, he was going to go out with a "fuck you (and your ultimate lifeform)."

I kinda want to think that Chris could have had a brief breakdown and goes a bit mad as the conspiracy and truth of it all falls on him, because it's so overwhelming and bigger than any of STARS could have imagined. And I feel Wesker would have been both insulted and baffled by his reaction, maybe saying "Have you gone mad?", like he had mentally broken Chris.

Chris has been going through the shitstorm before it all kicked off.

just realized that if thomas had listened to teresa and cured newt no one probably would have died ,,, not even teresa

obviously newt wouldn’t die because he’d be cured and very well able to make it back to the berg since he wouldn’t waste half an hour dying, he’d just run right back and make his escape

and i’m sure thomas would convince them to go back for teresa since he does care about her and it’s obvious they didn’t want her to die at all because they were trying to encourage her to jump onto the berg and their reactions to her death make this even more apparent, they are understandably angry at her but they still want to help her get to the safe haven

also saves thomas the trauma of being shot since he doesn’t go on his “could i have saved newt” mental breakdown trek back to ava paige instead he just goes straight to the berg

Was thinking about different kinds of scary creatures. Do u think monsters that mimic or pretend to be other things are more scary than just regular monster that look creepy? Like something pretending to be a family member or using familiar voices as like a lure for prey.

Monsters that make u question reality and doubt who is really who. Very scary.
