Sidney Chambers. That is all.
The half-naked vicar 🥴
(video made from gifs compiled by @jamesginortonblog)
Here is an excerpt of James being interviewed over video chat by Bonnie Laufer Krebs re: the recent release of "Mr. Jones" on VOD. He also talks about his future projects, including HBO's "The Nevers" and maybe... James Bond?! You can find the rest of the interview on YouTube here.
One of my favorite Sidney Chambers stills from Series 3 of Grantchester. Sidney goes looking for old Ronnie, Mrs. Maguire's husband after he bamboozles her out of her life savings and runs away. Sidney finds him in a Romani camp, where he has a new family, and while there, Sidney takes in a fete and dances with a pretty Romani lady. Like Sidney would turn down that opportunity. Pffft. Amanda who?! That's my boy. "I don't wanna be a player no mo' (I'm not a player, I just crush a lot)"
As Geordie says, Sidney tends to sin, feel bad, drink, repent, sin again, then the whole cycle repeats. I know Sad Sidney is also Bad Judgment Sidney, but he's the sexiest Sidney. The other really sexy Sidney is Sidney with a Scythe, clearing the church graveyard of weeds and stuff. Here's a compilation of Sad Sidney with sad jazz music.

A scene from McMafia in which: Alex visits his childhood home in Moscow, speaks Russian (his father thinks his children speaks Russian like "babies"), tells the current occupant of the home that he's a banker like one might say "I'm a toilet plunger," and shows off his thousand-yard stare. And still I swoon. I love you, Alex Godman!!
