It's almost never the fans who want this kind of thing; it's virtually always pushed from the top down by elites and activists. It's also this kind of thing that has largely led to so much of the backlash to the LGBT community in recent years. Additionally, pushing this kind of thing on people is the same kind of mentality that many of the Christian fundamentalists you dislike so much have. (By the way, I'm sure you'll find no examples of OP fantasizing about same kind of thing being pushed on Muslims, even though their opposition to homosexuality is a lot more intense than Christians.)
