Terrible Sherlock Joke #372
What do you call Moriarty’s relationship with Sherlock?
A slow burn.
changed my name, because i felt like it and also now it rhymes and is more fun to say.
One of these days, I’m going to text someone something meant for thursjournal, and it’s going to be really awkward.
Top six things to do on a rainy day?
Welp, I'm usually stuck doing housework, but in those days I could do what I wanted, I'd:
1. Read. Read lots. Read until my eyes stopped working.
2. Watch movies.
3. Write.
4. Look up things on the internet I want to buy buy never can actually afford.
5. Play games with The Boy.
Lady grey, chamomile, peppermint :-)
lady grey: favorite outfit?
That actually really exists in my closet right now? Long, green flow-y skirt from HolyClothing paired with a medium blue scoop-neck shirt that's almost fitted (which is *weird* for me). Worn with whatever long necklace suits my mood that day. Same with shoes. Red fancy Keen sandals or yellow Pony hi-top canvas sneaks.
favorite that might not actually exist but I wish it did? Jeans, turtleneck, comfy cardigan, keen clogs. :)
chamomile: comfort movie?
I can never answer these things simply. Depends on the kind of comfort I need. Sneakers and When Harry Met Sally are probably my top two go-to movies, but WHMS is not for comfort when I'm lonely. Hell, no.
Most often if I need comfort from media, I'll watch some tv show I've seen a million times. Lately, that's been The Mentalist.
...peppermint I covered in a previous reply. :)
Thank you!

12. What are you 5 fav songs right now?
Shuffle by Bombay Bicycle Club, Matty Groves by Ebony Buckles, Stay Young, Go Dancing by Death Cab for Cutie, Ooh La by the Kooks and Bizness by Tune Yards
14. Do you believe in luck and miracles?
I believe in luck sort of - i think you can be lucky that something happened but there's nothing you can do to get luck. No miracles though.
44. Trip to outer space or bottom of the ocean?
Is this even a question???? Outer space!!
Ask me cute questions
Prompt: johnlock, a feather pillow, 3 am
A little 221b for you!
"Sherlock Holmes, I swear if you wake me up again, I'll smother you with a pillow," John says, voice muffled and rough with sleep.
Sherlock drops down cross-legged at the end of the bed, pointedly not jostling the foot that was so obviously right next to him. "I wasn't going to wake you on purpose, John. I was just..."
"Yeah, you need me to hold a sample, or go pick up something from the shop, or make tea, or whatever. Not doing it. Now, go away."
Sherlock sighs, curls up and tucks himself against John's leg. "I don't," he says.
"Then what are you doing?"
"I just...I need..." Sherlock starts, and is lost for words, unable to articulate the simple comfort of John's touch, how his steady breathing settles Sherlock's heart, and how the heat of his body soaks into Sherlock's bones and makes him feel stronger, more whole.
John entire being seems to shift as he takes in Sherlock’s position. Wordlessly he sets his hand on Sherlock's head before he urges Sherlock up to settle into the curve of his body. He tucks an arm around Sherlock's waist and presses his lips briefly to the back of Sherlock's neck.
"Hush," John says. "I know."
Sherlock smiles into the pillow, and lets the tension leave his body in the next breath.
