Thurstalmu Headcanons

Zistalmu is older by a few years, probably less than five.

Zistalmu wears glasses, but they're mainly for aesthetic purposes. Thurfian only wears glasses when he's reading in his office.

Zistalmu has a genetic condition similar to hypermobile Ehler's Danlos syndrome, so he uses mobility aids (ex/ a cane) and his clothes have in-built structural support system so he doesn't have to totally rely on the cane in public/during meetings etc.

Thurfian's hearing is really good and he picks up more than normal in a room. Also has the ability to read lips (but as told no one about this for reasons)

Ughhh how is this meant to be platonic Zahn? Thurfian has revealed this big plan to take down Thrawn and after the politics is over, all he cares about is if he's pleased Zistalmu at all. If it brings the man closer to him again.

But there's nothing Thurfian can do. Maybe he's lost him for good. And all he can do is keep on this path and hope it works out for them in the end.

He really doesn't get all the scenarios going through Zistalmu's mind but I don't think the other gets Thurfian's genuine pain of losing him vs all the new things his new role forces him to weigh before he makes a single decision. And Thurfian tries to ease it with oh, we weren't really friends but clearly it's hurting him.

I didn't expect to be invested in them but the emotions???? Chef's kisses. Reminds me of False God.
