Just another thing that makes Thrawn: Alliances a high stakes workplace comedy is any scene where the crew of the Chimera and the First Legion interact. Thrawn's employee's are going about their day all dum dee dum dee dum, what a nice starship I'm working on, sure, sometimes the captain brings everyone to the mess to show us a powerpoint of Garlesk pottery for two hours, but you're not actually expected to pay attention, and hey it's a free art show, so as long as you do your job and put in your best effort that's really all he cares about. And then we cut to the stormtroopers and their inner monologues are all just Holy fuck I think I filed my report wrong I left out a comma in paragraph two that means my boss is going to literally murder me with his psychic powers
