I missed this bit in my first listen but in the novel verse does this imply the Theerapanyakul family have known Pete since childhood? Definitely at least his grandma, but it says families.

Definitely gives context to why Tankhun gives Pete such a grand funeral. I also was surprised on my second listen when Pete told Vegas Tankhun visited his grandparents-but this clicks too. Like they go so far back.

Honestly, I really like this bit of lore and hate myself for not catching it the first time(I just wanted to be back with Vegas and Pete ngl). Definitely strengthens my headcanon that once Vegas and Pete starts dating Kinn and Khun insists Pete use Phi with them because he's officially family now.

(Now I'm thinking of Gun and Vegas tagging along once and Vegas seeing Pete for the very first time when they were young even if that breaks canon)

(I love the idea of Pete being childhood friends with the Theerapanyakul boys so much)

Posting this to keep me on track.

I have to clean my room and do laundry tomorrow because Friday I'm probably going to be glued to Swiftie internet(Even if I know I /shouldn't/ and people probably won't post until Saturday) and trying to distract myself and I need a weekend to relax after two weekends of traveling. I'll probably have to do one small load Sunday but whatever.

But also I NEED to do work clothes for Weds + Thurs

Saved one of the best groups for last(Joking I love them all but these guys have a special place in my heart): I added the Jedi Apprentice crew as I think of them to my Tomodachi Life Island.

Left to right: Garen, Reeft, Bant, Siri, Obi-Wan, Xanatos, Tahl, and Qui-Gon(He looked too weird if I gave him facial hair forgive me)

I don't know if I'm keeping them all in robes some of them will probably end up in modern clothe(Garen is in an orange firesuit because he was also a starfighter pilot) but it looks good. Tahl does have a braid ala her comic look it's just an odd position and Qui-Gon has his half ponytail. Not thrilled with Obi-Wan's hair. Wanted to find something similar to his TPM hair but this is what I decided on while on a medium length car ride where I wasn't as settled as I should've been(Like just under 3 hours. So not /long/ but still a decent way. Might play around with it later.

Also yes Xanatos and Obi-Wan are set to fall in love.

If Xan and Qui-Gon ever fight I may let them stay as ex-friends tbh. And blame Qui-Gon. Always blame Qui-Gon(I love him but I don't like him)

I'm at around ~52 miis which is a ton of work. I don't plan for any other "groups" like this. Perhaps a one off pair here(I already have 2/3 of them) and there or supporting characters to the groups I already have around. I can't imagine people who wanted 100 miis.

Peach and Me looks really good. I definitely think the whole "Oldest has to die or be incapciated for the younger to take over" is just the Arsenis being drama kings because lbr they're all drama kings and Papa is not above causing drama when he doesn't actually mean it for his sons but yeah. Arseni brothers <3 They fight but they love each other so dearly.

Rome and Mok seem to be in for an interesting time. I really hope they get together this time around.

Plub gets a girlfriend! I'm so excited for her!

And Kian is still the biggest drama king and I love him to death for it(and so does Peach).

And July 11th! That's so soon! But also I know I rewatched the first couple episodes of MAT before getting pulled into a book series and reading and writing fanfic for a ship so I abandoned the rewatch so I should probably rewatch the other episodes. I know I saw the episode where Peach sends Aran to dinner with Thee... I'll figure it out...

Highkey excited for Knot starring BoatOat, lowkey excited to have a new Thai BL to follow. Like I've been really enjoying gaming and all that(Obviously) but I kinda miss BL so having a new series will be nice plus BoatOat's chemistry is very delicious.

(My Stubborn is so complicated for me but overall it's a good lighter hearted show for a stressful work week(When I watched it) but the backstory needs a bit extra padding and the subtitles sucked and so did the 2nd couple(Like they had no chemistry whatsoever) so I hope this is a better story for BoatOat. It looks interesting. )

Oh and my Thrawn manga did arrive yesterday! I have not gotten a chance to properly sit down with it beyond a couple flip throughs because it's been a busy week but I should be able to sit down next week with it.

I know I promised a proper post on DMD Lineup but tbh I'm going out of town this weekend and I'm stressed overstimulated and I haven't seen all the trailers but here are my quick thoughts of what I did see(I'm doing this because my mind will continue to stress about this if I don't)

The KengNamping series looks so good. Keng is going to act his ass off. They both will. I was a bit confused about Keng's character in modern times but we'll see how it all works. And I almost cried at the rooftop scene I'm not surviving the series

Side: Khemjira special eps in Oct! Yay! I wasn't super big on the 4th wall breaking kinda stuff in the trailer but it was also fun. Twins!!!!

Friend Benefit I NEED IT. It's so opposite from DWY but PTTP's chemistry is so perfect and Por is going to kill the pining friend and Jai is going to be an asshole(The sick bit where he called Sanit and Sanit ran to take care of him just to find out Jai had a partner... Jai when I catch you...) and I think this might be my most excited series but it's also what's on my Twitter timeline the most because well. PorTeeTeePor.

Is it too soon to consider writing fic? jkjkjkjk

The NorthOtto series looks interesting. It deals with sensitive topics and doesn't shy away from it. Plus we didn't even get a NorthOtto kiss in DWY so we deserve so much.

Passenger Seat X is very cute. Which is what ZeeNuNew does best so...

Oh! NetJJ's series where they're married and losing the spark and one is giving up and the other is just realizing how on life support they are and trying to fix things... Painfully realistic. The trailer was right after the KNP was and two emotional ones in a row killed me. But also. This is Stunningly mature for DMD/Thai BL. DMD is really breaking boundaries this year.

Unknown Lover really caught my eye at first look so we'll see(That was when I started catching up this morning so I don't super really remember it)

No 1 Student was bleh and the 20 Lists was a bit more interesting but blah. (Also Scent of Sorrow is horror so I am skipping)

I'm probably most excited for Friend Benefit, the KNP series, and Uke.

Namping is going to rock that horror series. And I just think it’s a commentary on something so personal-that the DMD bottoms are too “feminine” when they talk about that DMD lets them be themselves and how much they love it for that. I forget who else wasnin the trailer-Had to quickly get ready for work- but it's going to be personal for all of them. Otto I think.

Also-is this DMD's first non romance? It's implicitly queer but it's not a romance. I think that's so important.

(I have so many lineup thoughts and I'm trying to keep in mind that some of these might take YEARS to see the light of day lol. I'll do a full recap post after work. KNP's pilot almost made me cry. I need all the PorTeeTeePor. )

Sorry I just have so many feelings about Miyagi and Shinobu. Especially Shinobu before they got together and the joy of his sweet crush at the library and the loss of it and pain with the reveal that Miyagi knew Risako and the Dean and him running off to Australia to escape it all(just to realize that he couldn't get Miyagi out of his system) so the RNG of the game working perfectly brought my so much joy.

I feel so much for Shinobu Takatsuki when I think about them.

This was so perfect I have to share the clip. I added Shinobu and Miyagi miis to my island because they're a classic Bre ship(TM) and I went to introduce them to each other. Dropped Shinobu in front of Miyagi.

It's the library days in Miiverse <3 In every universe Shinobu is meant to fall for him before even knowing his name. It's so perfect. I love them so much.

Also I was fancy with mixing and matching rooms so Miyagi has a mix of the bookworm and office rooms(literature professor) and Shinobu has a kitchen without the kitschy wallpaper because that doesn't fit him to make his cabbage dishes.

I went through my Tomodachi Life screenshots and found some fun stuff from June for updates.

Usagi and Diamond briefly broke up(and got back together) and Naru comforted Usagi after it. Canon besties. I loved the little circle Free! characters all hanging out together. And the Samezuka guys hanging out at the sprinkler(I think I have to insert Rin because he's not part of the trio but shhhhh)

Oh! Haru and Sevastian/TK-421 are Besties. It does not make /any/ sense to me but they clearly have sleepovers and hang out all the time and bring me joy so... Rei has a butterfly pet now(and Nagisa has a penguin) and look at Makoto. Mako is dating Kisumi and Rei will NOT realize he's meant to fall for Nagisa. I'm assuming they're going to be the very last couple to get married.

Also I talk about Momo and Ceres. Look! at! Them!

And Wil and Sev are in love and happy.

The kids are alright.
