Trying to set my speakers back up on top of my bookshelves is really making me understand how much random crap and knickknacks I have piled on and in front of my bookshelves.

#i keep having to move stacks of paintings/picture frames to get my chair close enough to stand on and do things #also stacks of old notebooks #and knocking over little trinkets trying to run the speaker wire across the top of the shelves #it will be worth it for stereo speakers to listen to my CDs again though #I have a bunch of new CDs too and plan to get more #thymewilltell

I love living someplace where I can look up tteokbokki in a food delivery app and get an easy two dozen options to choose from ☺️

#I’ve been craving it for days #usually I would just make it myself but I don’t have the ingredients or time to go to the store #and I even got it for half price because they were having a promotion #thymewilltell #there are a lot of things not great about where I live but food variety/availability will never be one of them

In general I’ve realized that I like a drama if the main conflict is “these two characters both like each other and want to be together but there’s some circumstance that would prevent it” and I don’t like a drama if the main conflict is “this character really likes that one and is trying to convince that one to love her back”. I hate when a show takes the whole “you’re obligated to love me just because I love you” thing and treats it like it’s romantic, because it’s not.

I’ve also realized that the pairings whose work I want to keep watching are the ones who convince me that their characters actually like each other. Every drama I’ve seen has convinced me that the main couple is attracted to each other, but there’s only some where I also believe that they like and want to be around each other.

I finally discovered the secret to not needing a blanket while sitting on the couch in the winter, it’s called wearing 3 pairs of pants :D

#usually I need 2 blankets or I get Cold #but today I left my shoveling clothes on minus the hat coats gloves and was like wow I’m warm! with no blankets!#all it took was full thermal pants/shirt plus fleece pants/shirt plus sweatpants #and two pairs of socks #thymewilltell

the single most annoying thing about being sick is that after the first time I blow my nose too hard and get a nosebleed from it, there’s about a 3% chance of getting a nosebleed again every time I blow my nose after that, no matter how gently. I’ve had at least 5 nosebleeds in the past two days. Maybe 6. I lost count. I’m tired of it.

as someone whose only marvel movie ever was guardians of the galaxy 3 (friends went to see it), and who has kept up with the franchise solely through cultural osmosis and blackhill fanfiction, Agatha Harkness has become blorbo from my dashboard enough that I might actually watch her show

#I also watched the Agatha all along song clip when everyone around me was obsessed with wandavision #but I know very little of wandavision outside of that and various other Agatha clips I then watched #the stuff I’ve seen on here about Agatha and Rio is making me want to watch the new Agatha all along though #thymewilltell

I miss long form cohesive choral works so much please give me back my college choir

#thymewilltell #I wasn’t even in the choir associated with the college it was the community choir in a college town #but gods we sang good music #and don’t get me wrong the songs my choir here does are good #but they’re individual few minute often pop or broadway or folk songs #I like them. I do. I just really want to sing a proper choral work again #I want a requiem or the messiah or a 70 minute dissertation on the state of the earth written for a full orchestra and 10 voice parts

my mother said i can just use her whole cloves instead of trying to substitute powdered because she knows she has whole cloves. and she does. but they’re in a metal tin that says it cost 47 cents, so lord knows how old they are
