lovesick anon again, happy to help! you're very right that the way tia51 works is super weird, there have been a ton of fan complaints about them. they're a new company and lovesick is there only production so far but fans have been calling them out since the beginning for issues with scheduling, fan events, promotions, and ticket prices.
some of the actors like almond or their parents like progress' dad have liked tweets calling tia out for wasting the casts popularity and not giving them enough work or promo. the company seems understaffed and unable to manage 9 main actors and 18 supporting ones. at a press conference recently they announced that there would be fan meetings abroad and it's clear by their reactions that the cast had no clue that was happening and apparently they're planning to release music but have no schedule, they're going to release whatever song is written first. fans also aren't happy that tia51 is still deciding which stories to adapt for their two new series or whether they should commission original scripts because they should have been planning for this before lovesick ended. fingers crossed that both planned series get made and the actors get good roles but it will probably be a bumpy road ahead!
The way I am trying to comprehend what you just wrote . . .
I love you for delivering me this news, Anon, because I knew NOTHING about this company or its shenanigans! How did the company just keep messing up? It has 27 actors and basically no staff. It hasn't properly scheduled, well, anything, and announced fan meets that even the actors who are supposed to be at them didn't know about. And now no real follow-up plans.
Messy.
