hey do you know what happened to Tiara Mania, the website doesn’t seem to be working anymore

Hi anon, I answered a similar question recently and I don't have an answer.

A few months back I sent her a message but it's left unanswered. And yeah, the other day I tried to check something on the website and it no longer works, so only her Tumblr page is left.

It's sad that someone as special to the royal watcher community as her is no longer active...hopefully she'll come back sometime in the future, who knows.

I think this is the fourth account I've followed you on now. I'm so glad you're back because your sense of humor always makes my day better. I'm not great at being friendly with people even though I've been here for a long time so when you say something snarky in the tags of my posts it makes me smile and feel like I did a good job. After you left this time I realized that I should have said that to you earlier so even though I never say it I always appreciate you. Sorry, that got so sappy.

I don’t know the name of the person (or persons) who runs TiaraMania but it doesn’t matter because their work speaks for itself. The amount of information about tiaras and different jewels you can find on this blog is astonishing and I am constantly in awe of how well this blog is maintained. If there is a tiara event, this blog will tell you about it and I can’t count how many times I’ve wanted to know the history of a certain tiara and have found the information instantly on this blog. Of all the blogs in this fandom, this is the one that should be monetised.

I’ve recently become overly fascinated with tiaras and religiously reading @tiaramania. The past few weeks, I’ve been annoying everyone I know with lengthy one-sided conversations about my favorite and least favorite tiaras. Anyway, it’s lead to me to feeling sad that Iris didn’t wear a tiara for her wedding. I know most brides don’t wear them, and a lot of people think they’re tacky if they’re made of crystals instead of diamonds, but I love them and I want to see Iris in one. She didn’t wear anything in her hair and even though she still looked beautiful, a tiara would’ve made it even better.

So I’m going to play costume designer and list the tiaras I think Iris should’ve worn.. Suspend your belief for a second and pretend these tiaras would somehow be obtainable by the CW, forget the logistics, and just imagine how they’d look on Iris/Candice.

@tiarasnteakettles​ I just looked at you replica of the Mountbatten Tiara and it's gorgeous! It's seems silly to me that the jeweler would go through all the trouble to make a great tiara and then only have one color of velvet ribbon.
