My jeans have been all over man school since I last wrote in here. Splitting elm in the mud is what is pictured above. They earned their second ever washing after this. I prolly barrowed 60 loads of dirt in them this last summer and cleared a drainage ditch of prairie. I tended my bees and raked leaves, made a wreath, trimmed branches, chainsawed, built a shed, painted, gardened, cleaned, cooked and baked, made 'art', and lived fully inside em. It was a good year for me in my jeans. So busy and so good I wasn't busy on this box typing and killing time. I've washed them a couple times. I'll put up a picture next thing. They've got some character. Have a great new year's all!

All apologies it's been so long. Busy awesome summer doing busy awesome summer stuff. Mostly I was not in jeans, but mostly I just didn't blog or clog or anything cuz I was having childlike fun with children and gardening fun like zen masters and building my land legacy like a steward (or like Patrick Stewart).
So winter hit. It got cold and time to log wood and run in the snow and always pocket lip balm (that we made this year) and lotion hands and run in the snow and log wood repeat anon. I started running early last spring after quitting smoking and I took that shit pretty seriously this summer, fall, and now into winter (requiring the third sock to protect against the hard freeze…) Anyway… Jeans yo! Wear 'em!
So this was a cheap pair of JCrew jeans that I loved for a little over a year before I totally blew 'em out. They were (RIP) skinnies, and they wore in slow, but when they finally looked good, they nailed it! The zipper never worked quite right and I had to hold them up via a hair band, but they was cool. However, once they started wearing thing and getting character holes and patches, they totally fell apart all at once and could not be saved. That crotch blow out stretched fast and they couldn't be saved. Their memory will live on. Bonne nuit mother fuckers!
