For the Matilda au, I came up with a better idea then having Sally as mrs. Wormwood. From what you said with Wilbur being the only parent fundy has, I had a thought. What if sally was Fundy’s pretend parent. Maybe when he first went to the library to find something new to read (because He read all the magazine and books in the house already) he found a book about a kind-hearted salmon named sally. So, he would pretend like sally is his kind and caring mother who would confront him after Wilbur would yell at him or call him names. Fundy knows sally isn’t real, but he’s just wants someone to show him love like the parents in the books he reads.

Oh wow that hurts a lot. He’s looking for a parent who shows him love and now he has an imaginary parent to try and replicate the comfort and love of one and oh...that hurts.

Hi, person who sent three au ideas/Dream tripping anon (yes I am them, theater au brain rot 5 will be coming tomorrow). Sorry for sending the ask twice, I was worried it had gotten eaten up by tumblr.

For the Matilda au, I was thinking if Tommy was Matilda, Dream would be a neglectful parent to him and Tommy gets adopted by Phil. If it was Fundy, Wilbur would be neglectful to Fundy and he gets adopt by Eret. Unlike in canon, this adoption is successful and he gets a happy ending to his arc. I’m not sure which makes for a better Matilda story. So I was wondering if you could help me choose.

Also, yes I am aware that Matilda is about a bad biological family, so for this au, the sleepy boys family is not blood related. I like both blood related sleepy boys and found family sleepy boys. I just like family troupes in general.

For Animaniacs au, Dream and George aren’t mice, but blobs that came to life due to science and were experimented on without any regards for how they felt or what they thought. This made Dream angry and he vowed to take over the world. George isn’t dumb, he just awkward and way to nice. Also, He’s not uwu awkward, more like silently screaming awkward.

On one hand I want SBI family but on the other hand I want Fundy to go get a good parent for once.

If we’re talking about which one fits the plot better, I feel like that would be Fundy.

Also, Dream and George being the equivalent of Pinky and the Brain is brilliant. Dream the blobman deserves to get angry for getting experimented on and George being the silently screaming awkward is relatable.
